I'VE REACHED MY GOOOAAAALLLLL

31st post! Yea!

These past days have been oh so dreary, but now the sun is out! I am very happy. Except for the fact that my feet are blue-gray from cold. See now why I don't like fall and winter?

Today we watched CNN Student News, and every thing is all Halloweeny. I am surprised at how much people spend on Halloween decor, costumes, and candy!

I just finished a whole truckload of homework. Tomorrow is November.

I wonder what will happen tonight.......

MUAHAHAHAHA

I'll tell ya all about it tomorrow.

N

Wednesday.

We had interior design class in the morning at 9:15 am. We are supposed to start our room designing powerpoint presentations, and I drew a plan for my room already. The problem is, S lives in my room too, and she doesn't quite like my plan because her desk is going to be at the window. ._. H likes my plan though, because murderers can get S in bed. Plus there is a lot of space to do handstands, in the words of H. I did not calculate properly, but yeah, he's right.

Yesterday I starred in a new video for my YouTube channel! It is called MyArtNF. It contains videos of food and art how-to's, and so far I've only got a how-to of an omelette. but now I have a how-to on brown sugar cookies! For the link you can go to my food blog, If You're Hungry and You Know It. It's not up yet though.

I hate filming my videos. My voice sounds so awkward and I KNOW it isn't my real voice. If I was filming myself in my very own kitchen with my very own camera and no filmer to make me feel awkward, I'd do it completely non-fakely. For real. I hate fake voices in videos and/or real life. It's lying. And that's why I hate it when my mom uses that 'being nice' voice with other people. I also don't like the idea of being all quiet and mature around your friends, especially if you aren't truly this way at home. I mean, sure, I'm a little self-conscious but I do dumb things in front of my friends and don't care. I do wayyyy dumber things at home.

Yeah, S is gonna be all annoying around me after she reads this, saying I don't act right in real life either, and if people met me in real life they wouldn't like me. So pessimistic......

Maybe I can improve my channel in the future......

POST FOR TUESDAY

What happened on Tuesday? I don't remember, but basically it was normal. Well, normalish. there was no literature class. Just bio and history. The bio teacher has not given us a break. Like seriously.

H is sickish. For literature we are now working on the book Treasures of the Snow by Patricia St. John. It's way better than dumb old The Call of the Wild. I think I hate The Call of the Wild because it barely has any dialogues, and if there are dialogues they aren't between the main character. Also, because the book is about dogs and the setting isn't summery and warm. It is cold and harsh and wintry. I do not like dogs or coldness and winter is not exactly my favorite season. Treasures of the Snow also takes place in winter, but it is about humans and they talk a lot. Another reason I like Treasures of the Snow is because there is a kitty in it. She is a white cat with a black smudge on her nose and her name is Klaus.

N

Vanilla Ice Cream

I don't care if I stole H's ice cream. I, like, didn't even steal it. He chose it and I eat it. I chose thin mints and he ate it. Yeah. So?

I am going to possibly make cookies today for my YouTube channel and my cook will film me. I'm making brookie cookies. It's a brownie crossed with a cookie. Annnnd it's lovely. XD Here it is: Brookie Cookie

I have three more posts to make in order to reach my goal. ._. The horror. Fine, I'll tell one story for each post. First will feature what happened on Monday!

{MONDAY: LIBRARY & RAW MILK} October 28th 2013

It was a typical Monday morning, with not much work to do as we have no online classes on Monday. At 11am we all piled in the van for the library and fetching the raw milk. Another old custom. I had fines to pay for Z's books that were overdue. ._. Earlier H had dared to chat with the library telling them he didn't deserve his fines, and that they were for his little brother, and he (H) couldn't drive. That kid is quite daring.

So at the library I got the book Yellowfang's Secret after paying my fines, which was something near $15.00. It was $14.20 if I remember correctly (that's most likely wrong) and after the librarian told me that she asked, "How much of that to do want to pay today?"

I gave her a look. She'd asked me that before. Does she think I have not enough money or what? Yeah, I was totally broke before Eid al-Fitr, but seriously. Only elementary school kids have less than $10 in their wallets or ugly piggy banks. So I calmly said,

"I'll just pay all of it," and gave her a $20. She took it and went away to get my change. Some woman came behind me and muttered inaudible junk to herself. I got my change and then stuffed it in my wallet on my way to the computers, where a self checkout thing was. I checked out Yellowfang's Secret and then joined H with Z who was on the computer. We bothered Z. Z was only annoyed when H bothered him but not me. Why?

After everything at the library we went to fetch the raw milk. We passed the Rio Grande which was all dried up. Crazy, huh? H got the directions for the milkplace on his phone. When we arrived I went out of the van with mom to get the milk. The jars fell to the ground and broke. Jk. then we went home. The day was very hot.

The End

SUNDAY SCHOOL

On Sunday, October 27, we went back to the old custom, which is tennis at young park. It was verry fun. I hate it only when daddy teaches me how to swing my arm properly. Sure, it gets the ball over, but so do my exotic ways of smashing the ball to the other side of the court. I hit really hard. Like really hard the ball flies ALMOST over the high walls of the whole entire court. I luffles hitting the ball and the racquet makes a lovely sound. I can't even describe it. So anyways when we were done we went to staples to look at laptops for kak Nora because apparently hers always overheats. Me and S 'accidentally' took pictures of ourselves in the laptops. Z took a daft video. It took some time to ...um, figure out how to delete them. ;D

When we got home we ate lunch and showered and then mom and dad slept. Me and S got ready to go. s just said she wanted to come pray. If she wanted to teach Sunday school she would. I was emailing Mar before we went, and she said she got in trouble with her mom and therefore she couldn't go. I was like geez. Strict mom.

Dad was sleeping on the couch and I was worried if he'd forgotten, so I went and woke him up. He got up and we went to the masjid and prayed and everything was weird. I was quite confused. Pretty soon I went to the classroom with Ra and stayed there to help make copies of stuff and junk like that. Then after the snack and break time, I was helping Wdd make copies of a book called Gateway to Arabic that I remember using when I was a tiny kid. While I was doing that, some random mandom and his nastiness came in. They muttered something behind me, and then the mandom said, "Excuse me, where is the Level 1 classroom?" I went and showed them and they checked on their daughter there. Awwwkwaaaard. Then I had nothing else to do, but then S came along and saw the mandom and was all grinny and scared and I don't know how to describe it. She told me that the older students were having lunch. After giving the copies the Wdd I went to go see the older students [80% of them are my little friends ;P].

"Hi N!" said Reem.
"Hi N," said M.
"Hi," I said.
Awkward silence.
Eyes on me for one second, then excitement flared up again.

I went to go sit where S was and I asked her if she ate anything. She said no. "Then eat!" I said. I sat down in the little desk-chair next to her and she stayed there. Reem came over and showed me a ruler of hers, which she called a 'movie' because it was one of those rulers that made a zippy sound if you scratch them. (I really don't know what it's called! XD) Then El2 gave me a Go-Gurt. I'd already had one in the K-G classroom so I handed it to S. Then El2 gave one to me again, and eyes were on us so I didn't want to explain that I'd had one already. I just took it. XD

I couldn't open my Go-Gurt so I told Dzk, who was standing beside me, to open it. He stared at me for one second and then grabbed it and went to the kitchen. Me and S watched him. He grabbed a knife. "Don't tell anyone!" he said loudly. Then he was back and he handed it over. There was a tiny slit in one side of the packet. In my head, I facepalmed. "Thanks," I said. And I tried eating it. It was a fail but I got some yogurt out of it. And they gave out GIANT apples. I ain't no kidding. I hurt my mouth at the first bite. Lolz.

So then more random stuffles happened and some kids left and there was a new sign-your-kid-out thing. Then M's mom came with Hib for the Asr prayer. She gave me Kak Nora's laptop. I said hi to Hib and I stood outside for a million years waiting with the signout sheet in my hand for people to come and take their children away. M waited with me. How kind.

Then it was asr time. We saw dad come with H and Z. After prayin' we all went outside to continue with the signouts. We were waiting at the women's door with Hib. M came. "Finally," said Hib. Then Dad with Whammo came. Dad asked about the laptop. "I got it," I said. "Okay, let's go," said Dad. Hib and M said bye to us. In the van we tried calling Kak Nora but there was some problem so we went to her place. We knocked a million times but she wasn't there so we waited in the van and then we went out and then I saw Kak Nora. We called her. "Kak Noraaaa"! I yelled. She looked. We ran up to her. I gave her to laptop bag. We did some explanations and then we went home.

N

El día de campo

Just felt like goin' Spanish today.

Yay! I have a story (actually TWO stories) to tell you! Today was the picnic at the park. Remember? And last night there was that dinner at the masjid. Here we go.

{FRIDAY NIGHT: DINNER AT MASJID} October 25 2013

Auntie Sal came by our house at 6pm with Kylie to bring us to the masjid. Kylie was all hungry and groany and Auntie Sal was angry at him for not eating at his dad's house. Kylie said the food at Auntie Sal's house was old and that there was like literally no food at his dad's house. Auntie Sal got angry and yelled, "My food is old?! Your head is old!" And then Kylie muttered something inaudible. (Later on S told me that he said, "That doesn't even make sense.")

We got there and we saw Hib, M, Nr, and Y. "Hey everybody," I said. "Hi," they said calmly. Except for Y. Because she's Nr's friend and she's like about almost 20 years old or something. I salamed Nr and Hib and high-fived M. So yeah. I sat in the musalla with Hib and then the people began praying. Mar and Ra arrived and Ra gave her phone to me to protect.

When it was all over. I was bombarded with Q's about Ummi. I said she was coming later. Then the funeral prayer began and after that we ate. We ate.............food. BAHAHA no actually I took some rice and some nasty kinda date ball and lots of salad because I'm a healthy vegetarian (not). And I drank an adorably tiny bottle of H2O.

Then Mom came and then it was Isha time. I sat with Hib again and Mom too. Hib took a picture of my lap with Nr's phone. Then I piggybacked the kids with Mar and my right muscle pounded with pain. Then we were in the library and some kid from the guy's side yelled at me to get his mom. So I did. Then we left for shopping and sent Kak Nora home. We bought four ice creams. I chose thin mints and coffee. H chose vanilla and something else that I will remember when I go look in the chest freezer like a sneak.

{SATURDAY AFTERNOON: PICNIC AT PARK} October 26 2013

Well basically, we weren't sure we were going. Dad and mom were both sleeping. Then I asked mom If we were going or not. She didn't know, because dad was sleeping and sick and tired. But she said, "Just get ready," so we did and we packed the van. I threw in my rollerblades. Then dad woke up and took us to the masjid for dhuhr. Then we went to Kak Nora's house to pick her up and then we went to the park. H was thinking we wouldn't get any food because it was almost 2:00. But we did. I got a burger bun and filled it with veggies and I let mom have the only existing meat patty. S said I was going vegetarian. I only ate like one bite of the burger and gave the rest to S. I was not hungry. So I went to go talk to Mar, who'd been waiting since 1:00 for me. Hib, Nr, Sr, and Y were there too. Nr and Y left early and who knows why. I raced on my rollerblades with Reem who had a scooter. I won. But it wasn't a fair race in my opinion. Reem had to push with her foot to go down the hill. All I had to do was roll merrily down. But whatever. It happened already.

Sr was surprised that I could rollerblade and she said I should teach her. She walked with me and Reem and Mar with her nephew. Then Sr left early. Reem left quite early too. So, I was alone with Mar, and that was not exactly a good thing because she always wants to play with babies and walk everywhere with them. It was hard to leave her, especially since I fail at being bossy and I always say yes.

We sat at the top of the hill on the bench where the little kids were playing. I was forced to carry kids on my back and run down the hill. Not pleasant, especially since those kids were not the lightest beings in the world.

Ra bought a Hello Kitty ice cream from the ice cream truck and gave it to Mar. The way Mar reacted to it seemed like Ra was rarely nice to her. Mar said, "Oh. That's nice of her." And she looked very surprised.

We walked up the hill to the other playground and saw S swinging. Well, not swinging, just sitting and looking at her phone while swaying slightly. We sat and talked to her and Mar's ice cream melted pretty quick.

Then we left for home and brought Kak Nora with us and she waited at the kitchen table for dad and Whammo to shower for soccer. I ate bananas and strawberries and ice cream. Yummeh.

So basically that is the end of this post I need to carry on with my goal D:

Knuckles will be crackin'

Today Dad stayed home from work due to his sickness. After I woke up I helped Ummi pack some bags and then I had my Quran class. A few hours after that it was lunchtime and we had beef soup with rice and it was quite scrumptious. Then...Abi and H went to Joomah.

S told me to bake something today because she was hungry but I wasn't in a baking mood.

Tonight there is a dinner at the masjid and we might be going. Me and S really want to go for a chance to wear our new abayas. Tee-hee.

Right now Abi and H are at the soccer field and Auntie Sal and Kylie are at our house. [So many laughing voices drifting from the dining room ;P]

So yeah. Another lame post.

Vampire Lips

It is lunchtime, and I made some thin spaghetti. It's kinda watery, but whatever, man. There was no Interior Design or Ancient Egypt class today. Big bummer. XP

It's Wednesday.

Wednesday: H's laundry day, Int. Design day, and Ancient Egypt day. Also, a chance of swimming night. But I don't feel like swimming.

Thursday: Our laundry day, therapy day, and now, home2teach day.

Friday: Quran class and...FRIDAY'S SHOPPIN' NIGHT

Saturday: Farmer's Market and halaqa day. Swimmin' night.

Sunday: Tennis and possibly Sunday school and occasionally, soup kitchen day.

Monday: Raw milk and library.

Tuesday: BEWM!! Biology, history, and literature day.

My lips are all red with tomato sauce. I eat spaghetti and/or noodles VERY messily. There really is no other way to eat them, to be honest.

Dad sent us an email an hour or more ago about the death of someone's father. So apparently there's some sorta dinner at the masjid Friday night. o-o Plus there's an Eid party at Young's Park on Saturday from 12 to 3. o-o

I'M A SPAGHETTI MASTER

I finished this book:
And now reading this one:
I like the former better. Much more interesting and funny too.

Well I have to write an essay. Tood'loo.

Photosynthesis

Biology class ended 15 minutes ago. History class is in about 50 minutes. Today we learned about photosynthesis. It is very hard to learn about.

Yesterday I made some awesome shrimp. I like making my own pastes. It was very delicious and the shrimp was powdery because I overcooked it. But powdery shrimp is the best. Shrimp and salmon are the only kinds of seafood I like. As for crab... I barely remember what that tastes like.

Apparently I DID reach my goal. I realized it after I posted my post yesterday. And I was going to post something about my realization, but if I did that then my goal would be ruined. If I'd posted about it last night then I wouldn't be able to blog today. [Does this junk make sense?]

All my books are overdue. I shoulda renewed 'em.

Should I make eggs for breakfast? I wonder if S has had breakfast yet.

My fingers are freezing but my palms are sweaty.

I answered a Q in class today.

This is boring.

Rock Out \m/

XD

I planned to make a post everyday in October to get exactly 31 posts because October has 31 days. I nearly reached my goal. But no.

Next year, I'm planning a post for EVERY SINGLE DAY. 365 posts! Wow. There weren't even over 200+ on my last blog. I doubt it will work, seeing my progress on THIS blog...and also considering the fact that I'm getting busier. :P NO. I will make it happen. Even if it takes my left foot, all my money, the people I love, and even a haircut leaving me looking like a nerdy prince.

Sr sent me an email confirming the fact that Ummi and Abi are back. Mar and Ra are very happy they are back. Such luvvlee people. XD

I'm like totally rocking out here because S is out of the house, and H and Z are being adorable little filmers *koff* filming something for YouTube. It includes throwing a ball in the microwave. ¬_¬

We're all, except S, very sick men. (Camp cook! Bring me more koffee!)

Oh noS returned let me continue this later XD [3:57 PM]

Back. [4:05 PM]

Soooooooooooo... omg Dad just came downstairs! When did HE return?!

Things always happen when I'm showering. T_T consequence of showering late in the aftah-noon XD

so.

what did you dooo todaayyy

Welcome Back Mom & Dad

This morning at 10:15 we went to the airport in El Paso. Auntie Sal took me, S, Z, and Kak Nora. I slept on the way. Auntie Sal put on some ridiculous recording of some man named John learning French. It was dumb. But I learned how to say 'It's nice to meet you' and 'hurry up.'

We sat in the waiting room for maybe a million seconds and then Auntie Sal got up and said "Hi guys!"
We stared and saw Mom and Dad and stood up.

So yeah, then we went back to the parking lot and on the way met AbdulWart and Whammo who'd just arrived. Then we collected the luggage and loaded it into the cars. We rode home and Mom and Dad showed us all the stuff they bought for us. Then Dad and Whammo were going to send Kak Nora home and go pray at the masjid. So I asked to go to Sunday school and I succeeded.

Everyone was surprised that I was there because it was planned I wasn't going because of Mom and Dad's return. But I was there and that was that.

I prayed and then Mar showed me her class. It was completely boys and I only knew a few: Sam, Abd-R, and Hib's [adorable] brother M. I waved to them and then I had a little bossy argument with Mar. XD

Ra said we were in the kindy-room again, and I was like nooooo!

I said, "I'm just not good at bossing people around!"

Mar said, "Just be bossy to them like you're being bossy to me right now."

Ra said, "No this time it's more organized. We have another adult in there to help. So the classroom should be much more in order."

"Yay," I said. To Mar I said, "I'm only good at bossing people who are at the age of 8 and up, not younger."

So basically I did some junk in the kindy-room and then when it was snack time. Me and Ra were sent to find some napkins and plates. We got ahold of D and she went to go get them while we watched her class. I made weird faces at my buddies, who apparently were M and Mar.

Then we went into the men's kitchen and watched a game of ping-pong. It was so daft and hilarious. Then the Arabic teacher Sd came in and said, "Who wants to sing with me?"

Silence. Then...

"I do!" [.........and much more unwritable junk]

So they all started singing Tala'al Badru 'Alayna. I just did some body motions like a drunk girl.

Then Sd gathered us in the library and told us about an 'End of the Semester Party' in December and we're gonna get gifts for everybody and make a performance. Which is why she was singing.... so she sang again and I joined, for I knew the song. {I know probably more Muslim songs than the typical Muslim girl does....}

Then Smr wanted to take me home. I told her that Dad would come get me but she thought he'd be tired but I KNEW he'd come get me. So she took me home anyway.... but we saw Dad and Whammo on the road.

*facePAAAAAAAAAAAAAALM*

Oh well. That was figured out.

The end.

I'm an old wrinkly girl at the age of three hands times five fingers

I came back from swimming about 40 minutes ago. I'm all wrinkly and dry and I can't find my lotion bottle. We prayed late. We're hungry. Chicken is in the oven now. Pardon me - S just told me to go and do something.

I'm back. So basically, the bowling was AWESOME and I had 37 points at the end of the first game (lame) but then on the second game we pulled the sides up and I got 94 (with the help of meh little six year old friend Hal). My ball was ten pounds and it was pinkish-red. Oh yeah and on the second game I did two strikes. I am very proud of myself.

Just now at the pool I nearly died. I was diving without goggles on and it was so deep (because I was fishing for something) and I nearly lost all my breath and thought I had come to my end as I was floating back up. Just as my hand touched the little swimming toy it floated away and I was surprised but then my oxygen went away and I had to float back up. Water was in my nose and I had to cough it out. I pinched my nose shut and blew so my ears could unclog. My chest had a sharp pain in it. My eyes slowly closed...and I died.

For real. This is my sister S in my account typing up this post for me. Because I really did leave this world.

It is hard to write in N's dumb, silly style. I'm sorry, fans out there who do not exist. *cackle*

Well, now that she's gone, my life will be so much easier. Now, to get rid of H. *cackles again*

~JSF

I'm back again. No, I was just joking. N is still here. She wrote all of the former. S doesn't even know N's password. And how would S know how N felt whilst swimming? Sure, N could have told her all about it, but would S have enough heart to get in her blog and write it all down? No. As y'all can probably see on S's blog, the last post was probably September 7 or something.

So basically that's it.

N (for realsies)

9:38 am

I just showered. Joycie is picking me up in an hour. Auntie Sal should be picking up H in an hour too to go to the Farmer's Market. S is at the high school already. She was angry when she showered in the morning because Kak Nora was showering for SO LONG with the hot water, and S had to shower with the cold water. I was silently angry at Kak Nora. Even I didn't shower for that long. So anyways, I slept in S's bed until I woke up at 8:40. Yeah, I sleep in S's bed now because we're both cold, and S says I'm always so physically warm, so I'm her human warmer. Kind of offensive, but I like sleeping with other people. Especially if they like to snuggle. Unfortunately S doesn't like to snuggle.

So now there are cars outside slamming doors and weird kids screaming and adults yelling. Throat still hurts, and I'm beginning to cough a little too. Need to take honey and gargle salt water. I hate that medicine, but it works. I like Ibuprofen but it doesn't work. So yeah.

My shower was wonderfully warm, and I warmed my freezing little fingers under the summer-hot water. Now they're freezing again and not typing what I want them to type.

Finally, H updated his blog. S should update hers.

random dogs are barking outside

I fahgotted to tell you that we woke up late for Fajr this morning. I woke up early when it was still dark because my dream didn't last long. And then I woke up and saw the light. And then I tried to remember if we prayed already. And I thought we did. So I went back to sleep. But then S woke up and said, "Oh no, did we pray yet?" And I said, "I don't know." And then S checked her alarm and saw that it didn't ring. And then she made wudu and we prayed and I stayed up because it was too late to sleep. So yeah.

We don't have a ride so nobody is taking us to that pizza party therefore H better bring some back for us. Hib's mom may come over tomorrow to fix Kak Nora's laptop.

N

Milk Duds

Today I went to Jumu'ah. I was very tired and took a half-sleeping, half-conscious nap whilst sitting down against the wall. It was uncomfortable but worth it. Except for the fact that my bones cracked like ripples in the sea when I stood up to pray. Tonight there is an Eid pizza dinner at the masjid after Isha. There is a chance I'm going and a chance I'm not. For first of all, we don't have a ride. Second of all, we might have a ride. Very complicated, right?

Yes. Everything is complicated without Mom and/or Dad.

Tomorrow, S is going to the high school for her test. This means I'm going to the Farmer's Market by myself. I doubt I'll survive. I'm so dependent. Also, I'm going bowling with the Muslim Girls' Club from 11am to 1pm. And then, there'll be the halaqa after Asr. And after that, possibly swimming from 6 to 7.

I hope I'll be full of energy tonight. Because I don't feel like napping right now. I'll manage...because this is me, all-time every time: :D

At the store just now we bought candy. H's idea. After Jumu'ah we were all so hungry because lunch wasn't ready before we left. We turned into zombies at the playground and H found a few bits of leftover Eid candy on the ground. I found some wrapped cheese and desperately ate it. Mmm.

H is at soccer now, Z is on the computer, Kak Nora is at our sewing machine, and S is studying. That poor girl won't be able to go to the bowling tomorrow because of her test, which extends from 9 to 12. And she assumes that when she gets to the halaqa, the girls who went bowling are all going to act like buddies and leave her out. I told S that I would MAKE the girls talk to her. Somehow. Because I remember when I was 11, S and her friends would single me out of their friend group, even though I was just a year younger than them all. It's a horrible feeling to be left out. The words 'left out' make me angry.

*slams fist into open hand*

*stares at empty Milk Duds box on computer desk*

Teehee.

My Fingers Are Fah-reeeeeezing

My Qur'an class is in approximately 38 minutes. My throat still slightly hurts. My fingers are freezing. And umm... I'm hungry. :D What should I eat?

Umm, I think I'll take those red apples in the fridge. I have not tasted an apple for 3 years. For realsies.

JUST KIDDING.

I like green apples and green grapes, but I don't like the color green. My sister likes red apples and red grapes, but she doesn't like the color red. Yes, we are a very strange pair of sisters.

My toes are freezing too. >_< And I need to clean the toilet today. Plus the bathroom mirror and counter. I just feel like it. Those are the only bathroom chores I find fun. And also, meh laundry. It wasn't a very big load, but it had thick stuff in it, like meh towel (meh luscious red towel that is about 9 years old) and meh pink fleece blanket (meh fluffy pink blanket that is 4 years old).

I have a lot of old stuff. It's kinda hard to believe that I've had my red towel since I was about six years old. And yeah, it's still in good condition. ^_^

Anyways, I think I'm done here, so I'm going to show you some pictures that I took from my [VERY BIG AND LONG] trip in April.

THE BLUE SKY IS BLUE LIKE BLUE BUBBLEGUM

Random red van on the rough road.

Clear shot of text on the signs out there.

A random city.

Have a nice trip, see ya next fall.

Muffins I made. They got squished, but they were at least still muffins, and still food, and still good. BE GRATEFUL
I had to - didn't I?

See my li'l bro there at the pond?

I got an amazing shot of that white bird in flight.

Why does my window have to reflect what happening inside the van?

CHEWY THINGS RULE THE WORLD MY BRAIN

I hate hotels with that sort of blanket.

A very eerie shot of the hotel window. This was around 3am, if I remember correctly.

I'm kind of tired. Note to make in head: Never stay up after Fajr again.

So basically...I made some lovely chicken for dinner. I don't take any credit for it though, because Momma made the paste.

I want to listen to songs on headphones and pretend I'm in a music video.

I wish I could tell you a story, but nothing happened today. So I leave you with this.

N

My eyes are crossed.

I'm listening to the history class recording now. WWI is boring. WWII is much more interesting. And I don't know why.

I stayed up after Fajr today and did my speech homework. Our fire alarm has a low battery. As usual, S is grumpy and angry.

Mom and Dad are returning on Sunday. S is going to the high school this weekend.

I can't believe it's already Thursday.

More later today, hopefully!

Old times

I just realized that I was getting used to the new Blogger interface, and that I can barely remember what the old one looked like. *sniffs* Good old former Blogger interface...

Anyway, yesterday was fun only in the morning. First of all, it's because you see all your friends in the morning at the masjid at the prayer and breakfast. Second, you eat. The thing I hate is when everybody leaves. Mainly because nobody interesting invites me/us to their house for eating. But yea, Kylie-Mylie came to our house and we did some pretty fun(ny) things. Then at 4 Auntie Sal came and took us to her house. We jumped on her trampoline and ate delicious beef.

There we go, nothing interesting.

Eid Al-Adha 2013

Eid Mubarak everybody!

It's almost 6:30 am now. S is showering. H is watching videos (obviously he doesn't know the spirit of celebrating) and Z is sleeping. Auntie Sal is taking us to the masjid in our van.

I've got a gift for Hib and I cannot wait to give it. Aiihh, must go now.

Asslamaualikum!

Updateyyy

I have no idea what to call this so I'll just go with 'Updateyyy'. Basically everything here is good, I still hate school, Z is still annoying, H is still silly, and S is still weird.

Smr can not come stay with us tomorrow because her kids are on school break. So Wdd is coming. Tomorrow we are going to Jumu'ah and grocery shopping right after. I hate Fridays without Mom and Dad.

I am currently reading a series called, "The Books of Elsewhere" by Jacqueline West. I am reading the first book called The Shadows.

The weather was strange today.

Oh, and MuWaFaQaH, tanks for following my blog.

I'm An Industrious Man.

Yup. I am.

Nope, I'm not a man, but I am industrious. Because I finished all my speech homework last night. I emailed my speech therapist twice and she didn't answer. Meh. Whatever. I'm seeing her tomorrow anyway.

So Eid is next week on Tuesday or Wednesday insha'allah. I must make sure so I email the right teachers for being absent.

Today is Interior Design and Ancient Egypt class day. Interior Design is boring. All the classes I wanted to join, turn out boring. All the classes I felt skeptical about, turned out great. My biology class is boring, my history class is interesting, my interior design class is boring, and my Ancient Egypt class is interesting. Is it just the teachers or the whole subject or me myself and I?

I think it's partly the teachers. *smug grin*

Int. Design will begin in 21 minutes. I have to enter the classroom in 6 minutes.

So anyway, I gave up on drawing myself and my siblings for the character page on my sidebar. I'll add something different later.

Smr is coming today.

I hope I can teach Sunday school this week. I'll manage a ride from Smr. Ra is a teacher there and Mar and Abd-R are students. Isn't that kinda weird, if you're a student and your sibling is a teacher and you're both in the same school?

I just realized something. Yeah, even my blog is getting boring because I have no stories to tell. Know why? Mom and Dad are gone, that's why. There's nobody to take me to the library or to the raw milk seller or any other place. Which means no hilarious adventures.

I'm about to drop

Today I am fasting with S. I ate H's luscious-but-mildly-sickly noodles for suhoor. You should have watched H make the noodles yesterday. He put one whole stick of baking butter in the pot with all the other things, and boy did it smell good! (I just love the smell of melted butter.) Everything else about the noodles was scrumptious, and oh did it make my lips greasy. H should really put my Greasy Lips cooking show idea into action. (My Greasy Lips cooking show idea is a cooking show on just spaghetti.)

So anyways, I finished biology class about an hour ago, and American history class will begin in 10 minutes. H is being quite an annoying brat today. He thought he did a really good job making me think it was 10:20 so we had to get inside the history class soon. But what I was really trying to do was protect the computer so he wouldn't steal it. Thankfully he didn't. Unfortunately H's bratty teasing is endless and it annoyed me. I just ignored him though. That always works.

Hib gave me a heart locket as my birthday present. I love it. I'll see what I can get her for Eid. >:3

All my friends are off school this week. I think Mar is off tomorrow till Friday, and Hib is off for Friday and Thursday. I'm cookin' up plans. >:3

History class has begun. Bye for now.

To Think of it is Frightening...

Well, two more months to go and 2013 will be over. Reading all my old posts of this year; I can't believe it. Why do all years pass so quickly? Soon my parents will return, my little brothers will be 14 and 7, my sister will be 17, her class will end, we might move, and other possibly nice or saddening things will occur. The past has gone, and the future has come. It is time to face the truth. Secrets will be revealed, skills exposed, and ambitions pursued.

I sometimes just really wish there was something such as a time-traveler. I would gladly go back and live the carefree life of a six-year old, and change the things I did wrong in my life.

I feel like going back most of the time. But I'm also curious about my future.

The Casualties of Fall

My toes are freezing (which reminds me I have to put on my toe socks) and so are my fingers. When my fingers are frozen and cold, they don't press the right keys. I'm fixing a million typos in my writing right now. Give me a moment to put on my toe socks.

Oh man! I think my toe socks are too small for me now. It was quite a struggle to pull them on. Well, that tells me one thing: my feet have grown. My toe socks were bought in January 2012. They're rainbow. Kinda ugly, but I wasn't there at the store when they were bought. Because it was so cold at the time that Ummi and Abi went to the store without us and we just used the phone to order. Mom and Dad said there were rainbow toe socks for sale. And I never owned a pair of toe socks. And rainbow is majestic. So I said yes to them toe socks. I do think I've got a picture of them here. Give me another moment.

Yeah, so that was when they fit properly. Ugly, huh? I mean, that light blue is unnecessary. There is already a blue, and then it gets ruined by a horrid light blue that looks like barf or something. The rest is fine, of course.

Mom and Dad called us an hour ago. They're sleeping and they'll do umrah after isha.

Kak Nora is sick. And that's all.

It's all S's fault!

Well, today went off to quite a start. My Qur'an teacher didn't answer me after about five calls, and then I received an email from her. She told me to call her again. And so I did. And then I succeeded.

Then Kak Nora went to a doctor's appointment. And then Smr came. And then Smr left for Joomah. And Aunt Sal picked H up for Jooma. H came back at around 2:30. And then S told me to make a brownie in a cup for her. So I made one for her and for myself. And then I burnt my hand a little. And then, the brownies were done, and S was ungrateful, and I got sick. The End.

I'm sweaty.

That's why I don't like fall. Summer is the best. You can swim, the days are [typically] sunny, you get to eat ice cream, and best of all, NO SCHOOL!!!!

Except I never get that freedom feeling because I do my school in the summer. Nupp - stay quiet - I know it's my fault. XD

Momma is 3 hotel rooms away from Dad. They btoh have a new phone. It's white. And Momma got gifts for us.I think this will be the first Eid al-Adha ever without Mom and Dad. They've been with us since forever. Since momma left, everything is really boring. I expected things to be fun, but they didn't quite turn out the righht way. Only some things are fun.

Well, I think I should go to bed. It's super late here, almost 11:30, and my eyes hurt. Gotta sleep. And my hands are tired too. They won't type what I wish them to.

For the Sake of October.

I set the blog to a fall theme. For the sake of October. This is blog post #101. How coincidental. It's 10/1 today.

10/1/2013

Well, my day has come. I'm a year older now. You'll probably find out my age if you read my last year's birthday post. I'm happy now that I finally reached my rightful age of the year. Not because I'm a year older, but because now I can feel older around my friends who were born in the same year as I was. My friend Sr is about 5 months older than me. Mar's sister Ra is my age, though I don't know her birthday. And yay, I'm older than Hib and H and Mar now. With Hib it's a 1 year difference. With H it's 2. And with Mar it's 3.

Hib said she would give me something on Saturday. I can't wait to see what it is.

Why so glum, do I sound? Because I can never really be happy about birthdays. Muslims don't celebrate them. I think they're fine as long as people don't make you a cake with stinky candles, sing a ridiculous song, and throw an equally ridiculous party. Giving gifts is all right. My parents sort of gave me a gift last year. It was awesome. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the day was gloomy.

Anyway...I received a nice surprise this morning when I opened Google Chrome. It was this:
If I put my mouse over it, the message says, "Happy Birthday N!" Thanks, Google.

Well, that's all I have for today. Ummi and Abi are in Madinah now. El shared pictures of them with us on G+. Thanks, El.
