I made sugar cookies today at around 9:40 AM. They're not completely finished. Right now the dough log is freezing in the freezer (duh) and it'll be done at 1:49, which is in about 38 minutes. I'm using this recipe that I typed up on my food blog. It's the best recipe ever. THANK YOU ROSE DUNNINGTON.
Right now I'm in Revved for Ramadan class #13. We're discussing surah Hud عَلَيهِ اَلسَلاَم.
"Away with 'Aad, the people of Hud عَلَيهِ اَلسَلاَم!" said Wisam.
Yeah, I agree with ya there, Sam.
سُبحَانَ اللَّه we can never appreciate Allah enough. We will never be happy with the blessings He bestows upon us.
That taken from my notes.
I cannot wait for the cookies to be done. This time they are a horrible color. They are maroon and some sort of hideously bluish indigo. I was aiming for lavender and lime green, but I clearly failed. The color is really ugly. You don't want to see it. But, to be on the optimistic side, I will bravely declare that they will at least taste scrumptious.
The tips of my fingers are colored blue, red, and purple/indigo. Dagh.
My hair is in two hairy braids that I did myself. Alh, I finally learned how to braid my own hair. Now I need to figure out how sister does hers in a French braid. Mother said my hair was too long and it needed a cut, but I told her I was planning to grow it until the end of Ramadan, and then I'd chop it off. My hair right now reaches below the middle of my back. That is long, but not as long as sister's hair used to be. Her hair reached her bottom! And then she chopped it all off because the heaviness of her hair was causing a dreadful headache.
Brother Hammy calls my hairbands 'Google glass'. -_- I wish he wasn't so obsessed with tech sometimes.
Well, that's all for now. Ta-ta!
