Day #2 Without Mom AND DAD

I can't believe I'm writing only 'without Mom' instead of 'without mom and dad'. Dad must feel very neglected. Sorry, Dad.

So anyways, today I went to the soup kitchen with S and Mar and Ra. I served milk. Everything was awkward.

Everything is deathfully BORING without mom/dad. Like boringer than usual. aghhhhh

Mar is emailing me. My birthday is on Tuesday.

Day #1 Without Mom

Got up at 3 to say bye to Mom. Went to Farmer's Market at 7. Came back, ate lunch, went to masjid, came back, prayed.

I feel so useless.

I can't believe Mom and Dad are gone. It's just..I can't believe it.

BADAN BESAR?! O_O

Today was the last day of walking with Mom. It was planned she was to go with us all, but H didn't want to come. When we got back, Mom called her dad who is called Atok. Ah-took. Okay. Well, I had class while she did that. Then Mom had a class. Then it was lunchtime. Then H went to Joomah. Then we video chatted with Grandma. and Grandma said my badan was besar. How offensive.

Lailahaillallah

Listening to Silent Sunlight right now whilst drinking cold raw milk fresh from the cow and a flamin' hot mug brownie. Mom and Dad and both dear little brothers are at the store. Any teenager's dream, right? Well, not really. People may think being alone at home with Wi-Fi and food is the best thing, but actually I don't think so. I like socializing more than I like the Wi-Fi. Because sometimes when I'm done using the computer I just go and walk away, but then I'm like, hmm, what to do? S ain't gonna talk to me, so...and then I just go back to the computer and feel so awful. Anyway...wow, I haven't listened to songs in a long time. Pretty harmonic. ^^

Might as well go do some exercise by dancing.

N

Are You Ready?

Mom and Dad got the Visa yesterday. They are going to leave on Saturday in the early morning at 3. Kak Nora is gonna stay with us.

Since September 22nd, the first day of fall, everything has gotten much colder and again, my toes are ice-cold.

Last night we all had dinner at Auntie Sal's house. We ate tomyam. Tomyam is the best Malaysian food in the world. I had a full bowl of just the soup and it was so delicious. S made me laugh so hard last night.

And blah.

Brutal Killings

Why am I only doing one post per day now? It's dull for you guys isn't it? Yeah, well, there isn't--okay, there IS some stuff to blog about...gimme a moment, bros.

Well this morning I went walking with Mom 'rounda town with Z. It was pretty cold when we passed the school and all that but then it got warmer. We saw two cats. One was dark tabby with a white muzzle and underbelly (oo I just killed a mosquito) and the other was a whitish cat with a nice striped tail. I didn't see its face but it looked really nice. Kinda looked like a Snowshoe cat mixed up with a Balinese and Javanese. Ummi was scared of all the barking dogs and I was like, "Why can't these people just keep cats? They'd make no sound at all!" But of course everyone loves dogs and I don't know why, really.

Mom said she was going to get the visa tomorrow iA. And she might be leaving on Friday. So yeah.
Mom gave us hijabs that she didn't want, and they both go beautifully with something I wanna wear for Eid. Yeah man.

Okay, bye.

GoTong RowYong

Today was the last day of tennis before Mom and Dad go to Hosh, inshelleh. In kes yu dun't knoo wert Hosh is or yu dun't berly unnerstin' dis sennence, ah shud stahp the gangstah lanwidge.

(Translation: In case you don't know what Hajj is or you don't barely understand this sentence, I should stop the gangster language.)

So I made the pro team again today (jk) by hitting the ball ever so very stylishly that even Dad couldn't help copying me. A random kid scootered around the court and came in the other court too. I felt like smacking him.

When we got home we gotong royonged. That means everyone pitching in to help do something, like cleaning. We gotong royonged the house, because if Mom and Dad were going to Hosh, then people would come and stay with us. And Mom is very particular about people coming to our house and using the bathroom, because she's very superior about her bathroom and thinks it's cleaner than ours because she's an adult.

Blue

Today I went to the farmer's market with Mom and Dad and Z. Z got lost and he cried. Dad was mad. I bought blue cotton candy. Then we went to the bank. Mom almost went inside the wrong car. Poor, dear mom. XD XD XD

Last night we were at Albertsons with Kak Nora. Ummi took too long, so Dad and H went to the masjid without us. I was crestfallen. Guess no show 'n tell presentation to my friends. Boohoo...

The reason Mom took years was because she was Hajj shopping. I was grumpy because we missed Isha at the masjid. Ah well...

The halaqa is today. It might be after Asr or the usual, which is after Maghrib. I hope it's after Maghrib. It's just twice the awesomeness.

Schoolkids are strange

I walked with Mom today around the neighborhood and spotted a few cats. The first was white and tabby. The second was a tabby. I think I saw a third but I forgot what it looked like. Some people's lawns were very nice and green and I wanted to jump on them. But the person would probably come out and scream, "GET OFF MY LAWN."

I was holding a banana peel throughout the whole thing. I found no trash can out there, and I really wanted to throw it into some abandoned yard. But I obviously didn't because I'm good. We passed some schoolkids and they stared. "People will think I'm a schoolkid!" I told Mom. So we walked on the other side of the road. Mom said 'morning' to some people, as if they knew her already.

Then, yeah. We got home, ate, and did the day's fill of work. Last night we went swimming. I kind of didn't want to, because no one I knew would be there, but I went anyway. I forgot to bring my swimming card so I had to sign in the sign in sheet. While we watched Dad and bro's swim, these nasty black beetles were trying to get in the pool. H was scared of them. One went up Z's back. When it was our turn to swim, I swum proper laps to the finish and end. I couldn't do a backstroke because the water kept going in my mouth and nose and choked me up.

Red velvet ice cream

I'm pretty happy we bought red velvet ice cream last Friday. H wanted to get Carrot Cake ice cream, but he had already got the Birthday Party flavor and our ice cream limit was 2. H just went along with red velvet and birthday party. Although I just realized that he could have gotten carrot cake, because we've never tried it before, and birthday party was nothing new. Anyway, red velvet ice cream is so good, I hope you buy it. It's probably better than whatever your favorite ice cream flavor is, better even than fudge brownie.

I think I'm making you hungry. Don't go to the kitchen yet - stay for just a bit longer.

So anyway, today I had three classes back to back, with about only a sum of 30 minutes' break. First there was biology class at 8am, then history at 10:30, and lastly literature at 12pm. Tomorrow inschyea'allah, will be full as well. There will be Ancient Egypt class at 11am and interior design class at...I forget. I like the Ancient Egypt class. The teacher is nice and funny, plus her daughter is in the class and she has a cat.

My class on Home2Teach ended yesterday. It'd been going on for 6 weeks. But time, like a noisy speeding motorcycle, passes too quickly.

I finished a lot of work today. My math, my two writing assignments, my three classes, and my essay revisions.

I want more red velvet ice cream now. Birthday party is kinda nasty.

Spread the LULZ - OMIGOD!!

"Takbir!" Abi yelled from the garage at his victory of finding the French bread in the van trunk.

"Pretend to be dead!" I told S. Then I flopped on my tummy limply on my bed.
"Okay!" said S and then she flopped down on her side.

Abi came through the mudroom to our room holding the bread. I felt a pang of awkwardness and thought he was gonna do something to us, but eventually I heard the door close.

Me and S jumped up, laughing lunatically.
"Spread the LULZ - OMIGOD!!" S shrieked, flipping her hair up. I ROFLed and Abi just stood there smirking with the bread in his hand as if it was some weapon.  I cackled like a witch.

"N, are you okay? Say ash-hadu...an laa...ilaaha...illallah," said Abi. Then he left.

Spread the LULZ - omigod!

why do blog posts have to have titles anyway. real diary entries don't

Today we went to tennis as usual, and I made the tennis pro team. Just kidding. Me and S were subtly dancing to the ridiculous music that the equally ridiculous people were playing at the stage. Poor little brutha H was angry because he had to stand on the sunny side of the court. Then we went to Wally-Mart for a rice cooker. And then we went home and then we went out agian to visit somebody at the hossy-pittle. We stayed for too long and I had to get home quickly and finish some school junk. I finished it a few minutes ago and I'm like YEAH.

Z is playing the loudest games on Earth. Whammo aka H is just being a little brat today and S is being S.

Good eeeeevening Gentlemon XD

eh

S is at the girls club thingy, and I'm not going because they think I don't have good understanding. It's true....but leaving me out is just offensive. I don't even know why my understanding is bad. Yeah, it could be because I [used to] read lower level books, but that can't be the MAIN reason I'm dumb. Maybe it's the constant concussions I've received over the years. :-|

Anyway, enough complaining. I wonder when I should make the cake pops. It's high time for lunch now, and the rice is cooking. The halaqa is at Asr time, and then we're going swimmin' at around 6pm. Full day, eh? And an hour ago I went walking around the neighborhood with Ummi and S. I saw a cat. S said it was a Bengal. As if it understood English, Ummi said hi to the cat. It just stared. Then my legs got irritatingly itchy.

So.

Yea.

dee dee DEE dee dee, de de DE DE de de de...

random song.

Anyways, I'm going to make cake pops tomorrow with my dear sister *cough* and they'll be red velvet. Red velvet is like the most awesome cake in the world. First of all, it's red. Second of all, it's moist. I like moist things, unless they're not supposed to be moist, like swamps and mud. But we're talking about cake here, not mud-caked rain boots. (See what I did there?) Tomorrow is the girls club meeting, and we're gonna do silly icebreakers which I hate, and eh, other stuff. Didn't care to read the email in full depth. But anyway, the girls halaqa will be at the masjid. And we will EAT the cake pops. And I will BWAHAHAA! I can just imagine those juicy red cake pops that are as red as the shirt I am wearing now.

Secret time. I know that Ummi, my Avid Flesh Pincher Mom, reads this blog, but I'll let it out anyway. Tonight...*rubs hands in glee*...there's a Sunday school meeting at the masjid.

I learned that from peeking at an email from Abi on Ummi's email. Teehee. Teehee. TEEHEE.

What did you expect? Something extremely secret? Well, this is a public blog, dudes. What were you thinkin'? XD

So anyway...I have nothing else to say...and that rhymes...and I've said 'anyway' for multiple times.

I should be a professional poet, man.

Never, EVER will I do it for another century

I made a brownie in a mug this morning because I was craving for something soft and warm to eat, since the bread was finished. So after H and Ummi left for a walk, I made my mug brownie. And man was it beautiful! It was delicioso too. But after a while I started to feel sick. Oh gosh. I remembered the time when S made them for me and H, and I told myself over and over that I would never make/eat brownies in mugs ever again! Never, EVER will I do it for another century!

I wonder why H hasn't blogged about the arrival of his new Nexus 4. I wonder if he's put up the unboxing video yet.

He hasn't.

Oh well.

WHY IS THIS COMPUTER SO SLOW

I had a smelly nap just an hour ago (WHY IS THERE AN ERROR IN SAVING MY POST) while I was reading a Goosebumps book. I'd read it before, and I have a habit of reading things over and over again. S is disgusted by it. Ask her why, not me.

Ugh I just wasted a whole lot of blogging time buy browsing Google+. Well, I had nothing to blog about anyway.

Cupcakes

Last night we had the halaqa at the masjid. We discussed death and watched death videos and a few people were crying. Then we ate swiss rolls made by S and disgusting cupcakes made by me. Then some kids wanted to fight me. One of them asked me if I took karate classes. The nerve of him. XD

My nose has stuff inside it

Okay, so I have to keep stickin' a tissue in my nose. Well, not keep, actually, 'cause I just started getting frustrated with my nose. But anyway.

New blog background is awful, right? That's me. Never satisfied with anything, constantly changing. Oh well.

My nose hurts now. Today we are going to somebody's house for lunch and cleaning a cute baby. We will clip his nails and possibly bathe him.

Now what else? Well, I'm hungry. But there is no fruit. Therefore, I shall blog. And put random pictures in this post.

This cat picture is randomly on this computer. I think I wanted to use it for a profile picture or blog background. But my memory isn't the best.
This is the remarkable path that H cut through the weeds in our backyard. Awesome! ;)
That's it. G'bye.

Let's See

Brushed a painful black thing off of my foot just now.

So. Let's begin to summarize the day.

H's Nexus 4 arrived. I helped him film his unboxing. It was very amazing. And I want to complain about a certain thing. So we went to Joomah today because of S' horse thingy. So yeah. S left first and we stayed 'cuz Ummi had a meeting. We left at 2 something.

Came home, going to take Kak Nora to Walmart. Going to the masjid tonight I think for Quran recital with Mar's mom.

Silly S.

I thought we were going to Dharmahorse, but no. We went to some place on campus. We parked and went inside a classroom and awkwardly sat there. Then the person came and took us to her office. they discussed something so dreadfully boring that I didn't even try to pay attention. Then we left after S looked at boots.

I went to my speech thingy at 3pm. We did some daft icebreaker thing and then I answered some awkward questions and did some exercises. I hate it when people ask you a yes or no question, and then when you answer with a shake or nod of head, they just keep looking at you. I mean, they can't be that blind. They could clearly see that head gesture, could they not? This is annoying and very awkward. Don't y'all quiet people hate it?

I want more pasta. That was very filling. Maybe I'll get more later.

N

Horseplace

So, S has finally paid back my kindness in following my blog, as I did hers. Glad to see it. Though it's kind of sad that no one else is following who isn't family. I hope some non-dangerous, non-family person follows me soon.

I'm fasting today and I'm going to the horseplace with S and Ummi at two. I'm going to keep an eye out for any stray cats. Cats are always at farms and barns. At three I have speech at the Edgar R. Garrett hall.

Do y'all like my new profile picture? It's a sweet little kitty that I cartooned. Took time and was quite difficult - but it was fun. I am going to try it on another photo.

I have scabs all over my legs and feet - and the cause is? Mosquitoes! The nerve of those creatures! Well, I'll make sure they receive a piece if my mind.

I love Thursdays, because I don't have to do much work. Thursdays consist of just math, essay-writing, and home2teach homework. And reading Anne of Green Gables. Since I over-read last week, I don't have to read Anne this week. I'll do it anyway, so I won't forget what happened.

H is getting his Nexus 4 tomorrow and he will be doing an unboxing video about it for his new channel on YouTube.

Insha-Allah for everything mentioned up there. This Traveler with the Quran Arabic song is making this blogging moment harmonic and balmy. Balmy is a word I leaned from Wordly Wise. It means calm.

Well, goot-bye.

I shall abandon you.

I'm a prince

Ummi cut my hair and now my hair is as short as a prince's. Like, at my shoulders.

Just kid'n, bros. H made some pancake-y malawah today because we didn't have the proper flour. And that's it. I don't really have that much to write about today.

Labour Day

It's Labour Day to-day, and I'm writing all Britishly for no reason. To-day we are going to El Paso to buy plimsolls at an outlet. Plimsolls are little British sports shoes.

We went at 11:30 and bought our raw milk first. I was sleeping by this time. I always sleep whenever we go to El Paso. when I woke up, my right foot was sleeping, and H's head was lying at my bottom. I wanted to give my foot some time to cool off and wake up, but I had to get out. So I got out and my foot vibrated horribly, and it made me walk funny. It was awful. Someone shoulda shaken the blood to keep that foot awake.

We went to a shoe shop and waited for Abi to park somewhere. Ummi needed shoes for a reason, and S's old fancy shoes that were three years old were gettin' worn out and looked like they'd been tortured severely by the weight of S's feet. We finally bought shoes for S at a green store which shall be known now as, "The Green Footwear Store Whose Inhabitants Constantly Stare." S bought some black shoes that were made of velvet and had two belt buckle thingies at the toes. At a store called Clark's, Ummi bought something and then she called me, who'd been sitting patiently on a bench outside the store beside H and Z.

Ummi found some shoes for me and while I tried the one she offered, she vandalized the shelves and threw random shoes down at me. To Abi she said, "I think she is going to find something here."

I DID FIND SOMETHING. I FOUND MAJESTIC GREEK SHOES THAT WERE TOO OLD-FASHIONED BY THE WORDS OF S, BUT I DIDN'T CARE. FOR NOW I HAD A PAIR OF PRIM SHOES AND A PAIR OF SPORTS SHOES. NO MORE BORING OLD GRAY SNEAKERS WITH THE N ON THEM.

Then we went home. And I'm hungry and tired. The worst combination of conditions is cold, tired & hungry. S could be Cold, I would be Tired, and H would be Hungry. That seems fitting. Now that a September 2nd post has been posted, I can wait for Maghrib to come.

N
