It's finally June, and Ramadan is next month! In exactly 36 days. July 8.
This week has been crazy.
May 27
MONDAY: On Memorial Day, my dad was off work, so we all went to White Sands. We sledded and Frisbeed. I was extreeeeemely tired.
May 28
TUESDAY: Library day as always. Had a live class at 9AM. My mom had this Qur'an class at the masjid. She taught some people named D and Reb. Ummi brought all of us, and me and Skin did some exercises in the prayer room.
May 29
WEDNESDAY: Ummi's Qur'an class again. A whole crowd of crazy kids came. At 8PM we went swimming. Then we prayed at the masjid. My friends Al and Hb were there. Al told me she was going to the Girls Club thing tomorrow. Hb couldn't go, as she was too young.
May 30
THURSDAY: Probably the craziest day ever. Me and mom went to Jo-Ann for shopping because we were going to have a Girls Club meeting at the masjid at 2PM. We were going to make two diaper cakes. I had planned a dress that I wanted to make for Eid al-Fitr this year and I saw some purrr-fect stuff that I needed for my dress. I just looked at them. They were wonderful. Me and mom bought ribbons and other stuff needed for a diaper cake. We went to the masjid, and two non-Muslim boys were at the playground, with their DOG. And the boys weren't wearing SHIRTS. Totally inappropriate clothing for being at a masjid. The girls finally arrived, and the boys left. Haw-haw. The girls who arrived first were named Ay, An, and Dm. The second group o' girls were Al, Rwn, Byn, and Lu. The third group was Fa and Za. We set to work making the cake. One cake was for a boy, and the second was for a girl. So we got into groups. I was with Al, Rwn, Dm, and Fa. Skin was with Byn, Ay, and An. Lu took pictures. Then it was eating time, and then we went to play in the men's prayer room. No one was there except Lu's brother, Ya, and my brother, Hammy. So we played lots of games in there, and then it was time to go. We sent the girls home and delivered the boy cake to the person. I thought I was gonna explode of food. The end.

FRIDAY: My mom had her Qur'an class again, after Jumu'ah prayer. Taught the same people. Fa and Za came. Me and Skin taught 'em some Arabic reading. Went shopping early. I went to the masjid by myself for Maghrib & Isha.
June 1
SATURDAY: We went swimming at 6PM. Then I went to the masjid by myself again.
June 2
SUNDAY: Tennis day. Rollerbladed and tennised. Then we went home to rid ourselves of filth. At 12:30 we left the house to buy some clothes at Ross, the smelly store of clothes. Then dad went to El's house to drop of Skin and Ummi and to pick up Fa and Za for Sunday school. Apparently we were their Sunday schoolbus or something. We got at the masjid and I gave out some of my old hijabs to my friends Rabi, Shazzy, Reem, and my #1 enemy Fa. Rabi took about four, Shazzy had two, Reem got one, and Fa had three. Rabi was so happy. Shazzy acted weird, as always. (lol) Then I went to go and teach my class which consisted of two girls named Hal and Nab. They're crazy friends. They giggled too much. Sunday school had tow new students. One of them taught a new Chinese student who I forgot his name. I showed the new girl how to use the copy machine and stuff. Then it was Quran time, and I taught Hal and Nab again. Snack time and recess! I went outside to monitor the recess kids. Two kids, Zak and Reem, climbed the apricot tree and tossed some down to us kids. Yum! Then it was history time, so I went to go and sit in, like I always did. Fa sat on my left and Rabi sat on my right. We all introduced ourselves to the new students. In order, we were: Shazzy, Rabi, me, Fa, Reem, Ak, Zak, Mah, Abd-Az, Tah, and Mar. So history class began, and I read a Qur'anic verse form the textbooks, even though I wasn't in the class. Then it was test time and I helped Rabi with her answers. I gave her an A+ (teehee). Then we watched Muhammad: The Last Prophet on the TV in the kindergarten room. Even the big kids watched it. Then it was 'Asr time and we left and stuff like that. Then we went to deliver the girl diaper cake to the person. The end.
What a week. Craziness may occur again this week, too. Guess I'll have to wait and see. If I've got the time, i'll put up the White Sands pictures here. They're right now uploading. Just you wait. ;)
