Green Grapes

I want to go get a bunch of green grapes from the fridge, but H just woke up, which means I can't escape from the computer or H will steal it. And I can't yell at him, so I'd never get him off if he stole it. (Unfortunately he takes this as an advantage.)

Anyways, before I allow virtual wars to happen between me and H in the comment box, I'm gonna change the subject. There is a baby shower at Young's Park today at 5pm. Ummi is making spring rolls.

I sleep too long in my naps and I dislike it. I don't like the idea of just stretching endlessly in my bed when I'm awake but still too tired to get up.

Yesterday I updated my food blog, If You're Hungry and You Know It, so go there. I put a fruit salad recipe. I think I want to make a smoothie or some sort of fruit juice soon, because we bought green grapes last night.

Ummi left the computer, and H took it, so I think I can get some grapes now without worry.

Yesterday was the aqiqah for that baby Muhammad. He is very cute, although his face is quite bloodred. Why are babies' faces always so red? Is their skin so thin that the redness of the blood comes through?

Anywhooze, the food was delicioso. I ate some pasta and maybe too much salad, but I was surprised that for once I finished it. Then I was just standing in the hallway talking to S about something, when the door opened. The masjid door is very creaky. There is no way you can open it in silence. But you can close it quietly.

The people who came in the door were Ra and Mar and Abd-R and their mom. "It's party time!" I said when I saw Mar. She laughed. We stood in the hallway where the bathroom was, and then Mar said, "This is very awkward."

"It's always like that with you!" I said. And then we giggled like girls boys. Mar wanted to go and find a baby to play with, but unfortunately Abd-R was already playing with one of the Muhammads, the cutest baby (so far!) in the masjid.

We tried to get Muhammad and we were successful. Then more baby junk happened, and near our departure, Ra, Sr, S, Ummi, Z, Mar, and I were sitting in front of the library door in a circle. Mar's feet were in my face. I clapped my feet. Mar was all shockedly surprised. She'd seen me do that when she came to my house. Now she said, "Do that again!" I obeyed.

Mar now turned to Sr. "Look, Sr!" she said. "N, do it again."

Clap! they went. Sr's eyes widened. "Oh my God," she said. "Do that again."
I was now quite embarrassed now. Sometimes I don't like being the center of attention. But I did it.

"How can you do that?" asked Sr.
"My feet are flat," I answered flatly (jk).

"Let me see your foot," said Sr.

I showed it to her and turned it all around. Then I let it lay flat.

"Whoa," said Sr.

"She's the only one who can do that," said Ummi.

I then flipped my left foot to face me and I put it on my right leg. Then I took my right foot, flipped it, and put it on top of my left leg. Ahh. Serene.

then we left. we sent someone home. the end.

"Fire. Fire."

An hour ago, the fire alarm went off. It made a loud blaring sound and a robotic voice (sounding very much like Siri's) said, "Fire. Fire."

I, who had been lazin' around with the iPad in H's room, stopped, dropped, and rolled. Just joking. *pinches self* Y'shouldn't be jokin' 'bout that, girl.

So all I did was put down the iPad in fright, and I sprinted out of H's room and stood in front of the bathroom, right where the fire alarm was blaring loudly on the ceiling. I panicked. There couldn't seriously be a fire! I ran inside my room and was about to say something to S but she told me to turn off the alarm. So I pressed that nice round button and the blasted blaring died away. S came out. "Did you turn it off?" she asked. "Yes," I answered. "There isn't any fire!"

S felt around the alarm, feeling for any hot air. But nothing. Nothing at all. "Go and see if there's any fire," S ordered bossily. I went to the front door and opened it. No fire in sight, and no smoke either! What was this madness? "No fire in the front yard," I reported as I passed by my room and walked briskly through H's room into the sunroom. I opened the back door, and the kids at the playground were still screaming like lunatics.

From behind me came a voice, "Obviously there's no fire back here."

"Maybe it was a jinn, because jinns are made of fire," I said. Then another thought came to me:  the fire in Yosemite Park. It was just a thought, and it couldn't be true since the fire couldn't have reached our fire alarm. But what had really caused the alarm to leap into action?

N

THANKS

THANKS SIRI FOR TELLING ME THAT IT WOULD BE SUNNY TODAY AND TOMORROW. YOU'RE SO CLEVER, ALTHOUGH YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE. ND YOU DON'T TAKE THE CREDIT FOR KNOWING ABOUT THE WEATHER ANYWAYS. THE PEOPLE WHO TRIED TO PREDICT THE WEATHER GOT THE KNOWLEDGE FROM ALLAH. SO YOU SEE, SIRI, YOU'RE NOT VERY HELPFUL AT ALL.

its exercise time fr me. i did some jumping jacks 16 minutes ago from now (9:30 am). im totally bored an' dat probalby explains the bad grammar. but bd grammric ppl wont care. anyway my brothers blog is more non grammary XD

N

I'm drummin' my fingers on my collarbone

There is an aqiqah tonight for a baby named Muhammad. There are already too many Muhammads in our community here. Unfortunately, them babies/kids don't live up to their names.

Well, I don't live up to mine, either, but I don't know how to. How am I supposed to live up to the name 'Light'?

My sister does live up to her name, but only for herself. *cackle* She is peaceful when she isn't crazy.

H lives up to his name by making cardboard weapons. But he isn't a martyr. (...yet)

Z lives up to his name by drawing and writing junk everywhere and slipping junk papers under my door. He also increases the hate for him in people [jk]. (Zaada means increase. But that isn't Z's name.)

I sure don't live up to mine, as I said before. First, I'm not physically light. Second, my skin won't totally compare to 'light' either. So...how?

Well, I do lighten up moments by falling and making people laugh. *sheepish grin* And I do like light, because darkness depresses me.

But I'm not the source of light.

Why am I talking about this?

NEVAH MAHND. PEACE OUT.

Nothing really

No event has occurred since my last post, so there isn't much to blog about now. What to do?

I'll write a story.

"N! Do the laundry!" yelled a voice.
N obeyed, although she was quite tired of doing the laundry alone every week. Since S's class had begun, she hasn't been able to do anything much in the mornings.

HAHAHAHA. Coo' story, bro. But I'll end it here. No doubt, it'll be pretty dull.

N

I Can See Clearly Now

The rain is gone, the sun has come...and I smiled. XD I probably smiled even before the sun came out, so down with that plan.

UPDATES:
Laundry's been done, desk's been cleaned...(by Z...thanks bro)...and I fell asleep whilst reading. It was only a light sleep because I was still conscious. I heard Ummi calling me, S telling me to awaken...and I only obeyed when I felt like it.

FUTURE PLANS:
I'm gonna shower right after Asr. I'd been plannin' to before, but the clothes were still in the basket at that time. I grabbed my pants, but I couldn't find a shirt so I just gave up. >_<

PEST CONTROL:
Nearly killed another mosquito today...

EXERCISE:
Realized my chubsters, and I did some exercising. My whole body (according to me) is fine, but it's just my tummy that troubles me. It actually annoys me, in a way. I won't give the details.

I want to travel. {For the first time ever in my life I said that and meant it}

hehe the only reason i want to travel is because i want to fill in my travel journal and buy souvenirs and take pictures :D :D :D :D XD

But seriously.

Quit the grumbl'n, tumsters. I ain't listening to you until Maghrib. Now go to sleep.

N

I have so much time it's killing me

All I had to do today was math, and I finished it in 18 minutes. After that I did the laundry. I'm awfully saddened at the fact that rain keeps pouring, and I have not seen the sun for some time. Y'see, I hate gloom and grayness. Sunshine on everything is just so cheerful. H agrees with me. I can remember a conversation between him and Ummi that went like this...

"Ummi, do you like gloomy weather or sunny weather?" asked H.
"Gloomy, because it's nice," Ummi replied.
"I like sunny weather," N butted in.
"Me too," said H. "S and Ummi like gloomy weather, and you and me like sunny weather."

Well, thanks for sharing your thoughts with me, bro.

If you guys haven't been reading H's blog Xformat, I suggest you to. If you're too lazy, I'll just spill the beanie-weenies. No matter what H says.

That litta boy is getting a Nexus 4 that Abi ordered last night. Lucky kid. But bro, if you're reading this, tell me why Abi ordered you a Nexus 4. Isn't it the Nexus 7 you've been poring over on those websites and in Best Buy?

I want my textbook to arrive. The Interior Design teacher thought H was my sister. When Ummi emailed the teacher, confirming the registration, the teacher said, "I can't wait to see your girls in class!"

BAHA. HA.

The weather is so horribly gray out that I feel just horrible. I will try to frown as hard as I can until the sun comes out. If it doesn't come out by tomorrow, I'll give up.

I have to write revise my essay. Tood'loo.

pink kitty pens

My pink kitty pen named Butterflywing is in front of me. I'm gonna use her to interview D. And I am fasting again today. I had buttered pita bread again except this time it wasn't as tasty, y'know?

Ow, I think a mosquito is sucking my leg blood. Ummi and S think the mosquitoes are crazy over me because of my blood type. AAAAAAAAGHHH *scratches leg in fury*

I actually had nothing to blog about today, but I'm jus' doin' this because one of my school assignments is fillin' in my personal event journal. So I'm doin' it now, and then when I'm done, Ummi has to email my teacher telling her that I did my work. *smug grin*

Oh by the way I just had my interior design class. My textbook hasn't arrived yet and the teacher said that's okay. silly mailman jus' hurry up

Mailman: Ain' nobady got time fo' dat!

FINE.

I need new lipbalm. AH NEED IT URGENTLEYH. IF MAH LIPS AIN'T MOISTURED AH CAN'T SMILE PROPAHLEYH.

"If you hate mosquitoes and you know it, scratch your toes..."

did u

if u did then tell me in d comments

ok sorry if ur eyes are burning but i cant type grmmarly cuz im famished. yknow? k ill try to type with mildly good grammar now.

I want Ummi to cut 4 inches of my hair off. It grew in great profusion and I didn't even realize it. But now I can see how long my hair is. And after looking at all the old pictures of me when I was 6, 7, 8...I want to look like myself as 8 again. My hair was fairly short at that age; cute short, not hideously boy-length short.

Like this. And that's not me, it's Anne of Green Gables. XD XD XD

D is gahonna take me somewhere tomorrow so I can interview her for my writing class. I chose not to do JC and I forget why but Ummi just randomly told me today that she'd emailed D and D had confirmed.

I WANT NEED MY WARRIORS BOOKS BACK. MOTHER, CAN MAY I HAVE THEM ON THE WEEKEND, PWITTY PWEASE WIF A PWITTY N ON TOP?? HEEHEE

Mother: NO LAH N. FEENEESH YO' WORK.

Typical conversation with Ummi about doing schoolwork.

N

Be quiet.

My tummy will not stop talking. All it's saying to me is, "Fill me up, N!" Well, Ummi told me that my body is like a spoiled child, so I will not give it what it wants. Plus, I'm fasting anyway, so no can do, Tums.

I ate only a butter-slathered pita bread this morning. Mmm I can still smell that melted butter on my fingers. :D

where is my interior design textbook. i need that thing. cmon mailman. just understand that a girl named N and her bro named H are taking an interior design class tomorrow and they urgently need that textbook. so kindly deliver it to them right now.

i needa barf.

Overview

I had time to blog, but I was engrossed in my books. Quite a bad time for book-reading too, what with school schedules getting tighter and all. Ugh. I sound like a busy adult. I want to be busy, but I don't want to be an adult and face the hard changes in life and act all superior and - uh. I'm starting to sound like one too! I know that keeping busy and maturing is a good thing, but we don't all appreciate what's for the best, do we?

I got a load of books today. If they hadn't been so thick it would be easier to carry them and the load would look less.

For my Home2Teach Narrative Writing class, I am to interview an adult about a specific topic. I chose to interview JC, but I am in doubt about it since she's quite busy. Who else am I to consult? H's friend K's mum is also too busy, and I don't want to interview Ummi because she is family. I am left in a desperate situation.

Speech Therapy starts next Thursday, September 5th. I wonder what I'll do there.

My favorite thing to do in Hazens Homeschool (that's what we call our school) currently Wordly Wise. IT doesn't require much thinking, and I want to build up on my vocabulary. For I do admire wordly talk.

Interior Design class begins this Wednesday. Our textbooks should arrive soon.

So. Let's have a brief overview of the past days.

FRIDAY

NC did come, and we did bake, and NC did not help (jus' kid'n. well actually i'm not kid'n). NC gave me long dangly pink and brown earrings from JL, and to S she gave a purple watch.

While waiting for the cookies to bake, S and NC watched things while I read Dark River on my beautifully made bed. Then the cookies were done, and - oh I'm still telling stories like a seven year old - S handed a cookie to NC. Chomping, NC said, "This is good. Mmm." (like one of those dramatic cooks on food shows) "You said the dough looked disgusting, and you say the cookie is good?" I said. She ignored me and kept munchin', oh ever so very sumptuously, until the cookie vanished down her throat.

We watched creepy mermaid things on Lost Tapes until it was dinnertime. NC wanted to take us to Chuck E. Cheese. S ran up and down the stairs multiple times, while NC talked to her mom, JC, on the her phone. After everything was arranged, it turned out we were going. So we quickly got ready and then JC arrived. After about a half an hour's length of chatter between JC and Ummi, we left the house.

JC tried our cookies and she tried to compliment us through her chewing. NC said she did everything, which obviously was not true.

We arrived at Chuck E. Cheese, and after JC paid for the tokens and stuffles, we partied. I ignored all the mindless people who stared at me and had fun.

NC's older brother B watched us play, and while NC was in a racecar game with S, he said, "You're horrible, NC. S is beating you."

Then we ate some pizza and drank some drinks for a few heartbeats (sorry for the Warriors language here x3) and then we used our last token to get a picture of all three of us. It was ridiculous. NC's mom and dad laughed.

Maghrib time fell in, and JC, NC, S, and I exited Chuck E. Cheese to find a place to pray, possibly somewhere around the mall. There was a police car outside the mall entrance. We prayed in a slanted line in front of the former museum of natural history. Then we retreated to CEC to grab our stuff so we could go to the masjid.

DC, NC's dad, said, "Thank you for the cookies, ladies." We arrived at the masjid.

My friend Mar came with her mom and her sister Ra. "Hey! I thought you wouldn't come!" I told Mar, jostling her violently. "I thought you wouldn't come either!" she said.

Me, Mar, S, Ra, and Sr Mn had a little group talk in a corner of the masjid. Since me and Mar were considered 'young', we weren't included in the conversation (even though Ra and Sr Mn are my age. Mar is only twelve, three years younger than me).

After everything, we went shopping, and NC gave us that ridiculous picture to keep. The endy Wendies.

SATURDAY

I was planning to use this day to catch up on some missed work. Didn't work out; apparently there was a picnic at the Young Park for Eid.

I wanted to go to the Farmer's Market today, but according to Ummi, I didn't wake when Abi woke me, so he and Ummi left without me. I later woke up, sweating. So I got ready thinkin' it was still early and whatever. Ummi came in my room with her outside clothes on. "Eh what are you doing N?" she asked.

"Getting ready." I said tiredly.

"But we already left!"

I looked at her with shock in my face. "But..."

"Abi woke you up, but you didn't wake up, so we left without you."

I changed into my Canada Roots shirt and ate a peach. Mmm.

S told me, "Jidda wants to do a video chat with us-"

My face lighted up.

"-but there might be everybody, not just her, so we might have to wear tudung and all," she finished.

I put on an 'eh' face. S giggled girlishly.

We did a video chat soon as H woke. We did it on the iPad, Abi's iPad in it's glorious scarlet cover. Turned out it was just Jidda and Abi's cousin Reen. Phee-hewies.

Jidda commented on H's tallness, my supposedly nice teeth, and S's - well she said nothing about her because S didn't want to show herself. She was 'ugly' she said. Girl, jus' remember, H is uglier. ;)

As for Z, he would not talk. -_- Jidda was like, "Where is S, the Jamilah?"

H put her/the iPad in the fridge and we showed her the weeds growing in profusion in our yard. "Your garden is beautiful," said Jidda. That got us laughing.

"Where is F? I want to see your father's face," said Jidda.

"He's at a meeting," I said.

Then it was over. The time came for us to get ready for goin'.

So I brought my rollerblades and found mah buddeh Mar and NC was nawt thair yet. Ayund, we came a little (or maybe a lottle) late, so the only remainin' food was some wimpy burgah pattehs and some chicken. I wasn't very hungry because Ummi made us eat lunch before we left in case there wasn't any food there. So I rollerbladed and I also raced with R on her twistin' skateboard (fahgotted, I did what it was actually called). I won, unfairly. R's thingy was kinder slow.

Why all the southern talk? Ask yourself. Now then, NC arrived, and me and Mar were eatin' under a tree. I saw JC talking to someone, and NC beside her.

"I'm gonna get her attention," I told Mar.

I stood up and waved my arm wildly. NC noticed, and her face lighted up and she came runnin' to me.

As usual, she bearhugged me and bit my head. Owie. Mar felt bad for NC because she arrived late and everybody finished the food. Well, that is all that happened. Now then...

SUNDAY

JC was taking us to the soup kitchen. Me and S readied ourselves, ate, and waited in the front yard. JC arrived a little late because there was a thorn in her tire.We got there and we did the desserts. Then we cut tomatoes. Then it was break time and we ate donuts and mm i can smell them whilst writing this. the soupp kitchen people gave out bags of croissants, donuts, bread, and nasty bagels to every one. "Go open the car, NC," said JC.

while serving i developed a horrible stomachache. so yaeah. it lasted until monday the day i was planning to fast but my tummache was so bad i culdn't fast so yeaeh. oh, and Auntie Sal and K came for dinner.

The end.

I'm so angry right now.

Mosquitoes are all over the house, and my feet look awful. Making me grumpy. I feel like taking on 100 killable things/people that I hate.

I'm itchy all over. GO AWAY YOU HATEFUL MOSQUITO FOR PETE'S SAKE. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO PETE IT BUT JUST GO AWAY BECAUSE I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU MORE THAN I CAN IMAGINE. I HATE YOU SO MUCH I CANT EVEN EXPRESS IT IN WORDS. NOW LEAVE THIS HOUSE!!!!

the raw milk is nearly finished. (And my temper is almost lost)

IGH IM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW. WHY DO MOSQUITOES HAVE TO LIVE?!!?!?

Fine ill lighten up the moment by telling you that NC got a new cat named Mavis. She is so cute. NC is so lucky.

N

The Stars are Falling. Oh, Excitement.

Z is playing bad games on a who-knows-what website. There is bad violin music playing and Z won't mute it. My ears have a slight throbbing pain in them. Probably a sign telling me the music is bad for my ears. The computer is yelling 'MOUNTAIN' at Z. H told the computer, "I get it." S laughed lamely. H is making his cardboard couch in the sunroom. I have not seen him doing his cardboard constructing in a long time. Plus, I haven't seen S reading in years. It's nice to see her reading for a change.

I feel like I've accomplished some things today. Last night I did all my Wordly Wise in almost one sitting (if there hadn't been too many interruptions), and I was surprised at myself for finishing so quickly. I completed Problem Set 8 in Teaching Textbooks, and I have to do Problem Set 9 too. I'm furiously sweating here. I'm takin' years to finish reading Eclipse.

Well. Bye.

*scratches foot...and other things*

Scratch that, I meant to say 'scratches foot...and scratchable things'.

Anyway. Why all the scratching? What is this madness? Well, there's a mosquito around that is as bratty as H and as bratty as Z when he barges into my room without permissioné. My foot is extremely itchy because mosquitoes love feet for no reason. Why can't they ever bite things that aren't biteable? Or why don't they go to space and freeze to death or die in the Black Hole? All mosquitoes do is suck people's blood, cause them to itch, and spread malaria. No help to the world, right? Well, anyway, I hate this font. It's called Times New Roman. And I know that when I post this post it'll be in the font Arial, but whatever. My foot's itchy and I'm frustrated. Now my arm is itchy. I have to read Anne of Green Gables. I have to do Wordly Wise. I have to do Problem Set 8 in math. I'm learning about riba', which is interest in case you ain't Arabic-speakin'.

I know French. What does bonne nuit mean?

Language class is over. Now GET OUTTER MAH SIGHT.

I'm bilingual. Nah. I'm not.

Aah. Ginger is telling me to do my work because the time slips by. Oh deario. Okay. I'll go do my Wordly Wise and I'll be back with some extraordinary new vocabulary. Cheerio!

N

I'm Like, Jumping for Joy Here.

S told me that N C is comnig over on Friday, and we're gonna back Dixie Pixie cookies with her. I can't wait.

Today we video chatted with Grandma, who is all the way in Malaysia. We gave her and our uncle Dazzle a tour of our lovely house.

Saturday, 17 August 2013 was the first night of the Girls Hifdh meeting at the masjid. While everyone was praying, Ma began to talk to me. "This is very awkward," she said. Why did she always have to say that when I was around? Lol. So she started telling me about her first day of school, and how awkward it was, and the other Muslims who there that we knew. Apparently Dm and Ay were in Ma's class. Anyway, when Ummi was done with her dhikr, she turned around, saw Ma talking, and said, "Oh, it's you! I was like, 'Hmm, who's talking? Ohh, it's you!' I never heard you talk."

We grinned and she kept talking about school after Ummi left to talk to Ma's mom.

Well, we discussed surah Kahf and the surahs we were memorizing.

The end.

S is sleeping and Ummi is sewing abayas for Ha--I mean, because they're broken. *innocent grin*

Well, tood'loo. I've finished sending my assignments to my teacher, so I can get off the computer now and finish up my Wordly Wise. Oh man, I planned to do that after math. Dear me. Oh deario. Whatever cheerio. Better go.

Bear Says Thanks

Well, I thought I had a draft in process, but fortunately I don't. So anyways, there's a silly book on the computer desk in front of me called, "Bear Says Thanks." Ummi was reading it to Z this morning, trying to teach him about rhymes. But when Ummi read a book called, "Bear Gets Sick," Z started to disobey Ummi and she exploded. I guess sick bears are bad things to be around.

I archived everything in by primary inbox, and now there's a huge message there that says, "Your primary tab is empty. Nothing to see here." Well, I clearly know that already. Gmail didn't have to put it so rudely. And that message makes me think I'm not supposed to look at my empty inbox. Who cares if it's empty? Looking at empty things is enjoyable.

Did I tell you about what I thought of the Warriors series? I think not. Anyways, S said she thought Firestar was boring because he lived too long, and when he died, the series ended. But I told her, "The series began with Firestar, so why shouldn't it end with him, too?" Although I would like to see what Clan life would be with Bramblestar as leader. But I didn't even read all the books in order, and every time I ask S a question, she flares up. "Didn't you read--"

"No, I didn't," I would say.

Today was supposed to be library day, but we went yesterday to pick up raw milk from a dancing place. Ummi was going to enroll us in there. Just joking. So we went to the library before we picked up the raw milk and I got loads of books.

  1. Yellowfang's Secret
  2. SkyClan's Destiny
  3. Eclipse
  4. Dark River
  5. Long Shadows
  6. The Last Hope
  7. The Forgotten Warrior
  8. Sign of the Moon
Oakheart could have moved to ThunderClan. It would've been so much easier. But I doubt if Bluestar would have still been leader if Oakheart had moved to ThunderClan.

Okay. I should stop. Non-Warriors readers will not understand. I'll talk about the book for literature class.

Anne of Green Gables is mildly interesting so far. Anne is a pretty interesting character, and why she does not like red hair I do not know why. I have always wanted red hair, although I do know that red hair would look bizarre mixed up with my caramel skin. But reddish black hair would be fine.

Anyways, I just LOVE my pink highlighter and my pink mechanical pencil and my pink kitty cat pen. Oh, by the way, I named it Butterflywing. There are three animals on my desk, currently. There is the leopard Seraphina, the dog Kipper, and Butterflywing. The other cats I have are all frolicking around my bed and my nightstand.

Oh dear. I didn't realize I was supposed to be rambling about Anne of Green Gables. Well, I'm done with that, I guess.

H is getting some cake now.

I need to go and shower.

Before S does.

We-e-e-ell, I'd better go and do something. Bye-bye.

Goblins for Dinner

Last night Abi had five friends over for dinner.

We were all praying Asr when Abi returned. I went down the stairs and he told me, "Go tell your mom that we will be doing grocery."

"Okay."

So I told her, and she said, "Whoever wants to go, siap." ('siap' means 'get ready' in Malay.)

"I don't want to go," I said, because my hair was still wet from my late shower.

"I don't want to go, 'cuz my hair's wet and all," S echoed my thoughts.

"Okay," said Ummi.

I went down the stairs again but stopped halfway because Abi and H were sitting there discussing something, blocking the way down. I decided to jump down from the high place where I was, but it looked too dangerous. So I waited for Abi and H to be done. Then I trotted down the stairs. Ummi told me to practice my surah while she was gone. So I played it on Quran Explorer and listened to it until they came back. I jumped up and helped put some of the stuff away. Ooh, three bunches of bananas! And watermelon! And kiwis!

While Ummi was cooking and H was doing dishes or something, I looked at our fruit stash and said, "Hmm...I can make a fruit salad!"

"Ha'a," Ummi agreed.

After some time Ummi yelled at all of us to clean the house. I was in the bathroom tying up my hair. I hastily tied it up and cleaned. I wiped the table, tableclothed it, swept, and mopped. Then S told me to  clean the bathroom toilet because she was too grossed out.

Then Ummi called me to make the fruit salad. I sliced one banana, sliced two kiwis, halved a bunch of grapes, cubed a watermelon and a cantaloupe too. Then, so as to preserve the bananas, I squirted some lemon juice over everything. Then I stirred everything slovenly together and placed the salad on the table. "This is a rainbow fruit salad," I said.

So when all the food and cleaning was done and the table was set and Abi and the bro's left for the masjid, we all went upstairs for Maghrib. When we went down, we quickly filled our plates with food before the people arrived. Then Abi came home with Z. Seconds after that, the people arrived and knocked on the door. Ummi rushed upstairs and I ran to my room with my plate.

S and I ate in silence and waited for Ummi to enter the room and eat with us. I sat on the ground because my chari was taken out. I ate while reading Outcast in my left hand.

"I'm finishing too fast," S said, sweeping up the last bits of her food with her fingers.

"Me too. We'll have to ask Ummi to get more food for us," I said.

After a looooong time, Ummi came in. She was holding a plate of fruit salad and a plate of food.

"Hi mom," I said.

She took off her abaya and tudung. (Tudung is the Malay word for 'hijab'.) "Where can I sit?" she asked.

"The ground," I said brusquely.

"Nooo, it's hot," she said. "Where can I get the wind?"

"Where the thing is flapping," S said, pointing to the flapping sheet of paper that flapped because it was being exposed to the cooler.

Ummi sat on my desk, which I had just beautifully groomed. I mean cleaned.

Pretty soon we were finished eating, and we told Ummi to get more. She put on her clothes and took S's plate. Then she came back and took mine. "What do you want?" she asked.

"Same thing as S, rice, beef, kuah..." (Kuah is a Malay word for gravy.)

"Okeh."

She gave me my plate. Then we ate. When we were finished we realized we couldn't go out and wash our hands. "We can use the hose," S said. So she went through the mudroom and garage and washed her hands with the hose out in the front yard. When she came back I went and I KILLED MY FOOT WITH A SILLY BIKE PUMP.

IT STUNG LIKE FURY.

I limped out and washed my hands. Then I returned to my room. I dried my hands, then sat on my bed and read my book. Somehow a conversation of books and literature popped up. While we talked, the men in the dining room cackled madly, like goblins.

And that was the end of that. The men left at Isha time, we prayed Isha, and then I killed a bug no the stairs while going to help Z shower.

Purposes

I don't know why flies are in the Earth. They seem pretty useless. But then again, everything has a purpose, because Allah made everything and everyone for a purpose. Though it angers me how I cannot really find the purpose of flies in this world. All they do is buzz like little greedy brats over food and turds, and then they fly over tramps to annoy them. They even do it to clean people! And to annoy humans even more, the flies brought along their cousins the fruit flies and the large green flies to complete their mission of making humans hate them. Why? Why? Earlier while I was practicing my revision, a fly was sparking my monsterish side, making me turn towards flies extremely dangerously. It went on my lips, then inside my right nostril, then nearly inside my right eye! What is this madness? Surely the fly did not come to me for a good purpose? I kept growling at the fly with gritted teeth to go away, but it was a little servant of my brother. It didn't listen and annoyed me on, while a fiery battle raged in my body. Moments later, without my noticing, it had gone. This strangely worried me. It reminded me of a story I read once, about a prince who pushed away his faithful pet crow thrice whilst the crow was trying to protect his master from the poisoned water he was trying to get at. At the third time the prince killed his crow and when he realized what his crow was trying to do, he was in a desperate state. But I don't think this was the same case with me and that fly, so I'm (supposedly) okay.

Bye.

Wednesday

I think fasting yesterday messed up my school schedule.

For one thing, I got really tired whilst doing my Wordly Wise and I still had math left to do. Later I was sleeping and my work was half done. Ummi bothered me when I was trying to sleep. And today I had to finish up Test 3 of Teaching Textbooks Algebra 1 and I haven't gotten to doing Lesson 4. I'm feeling lazy...

Last night for dinner we had mushroom soup and bread. It was very nourishing. After Maghrib I had speech therapy with Ummi.

Today Ummi's best friend E called and I had to go and join the video chat whilst laundry slave labor because F wanted to talk to me. Shoot. So I talked to F in the boredest voice I could manage. Unfortunately I found myself enjoying it.

Well, after I went down, S forced me to fold and hang the laundry that's been living in our room for more than a week. I didn't want to do it, but I was glad when the basket was out of our room. Tehn I cleaned out my top desk drawer and arranged my wall and desk. I stacked my books up high and tried to figure out where and how the stuffed animals should sit. They were Seraphina, a leopard toy, and a dog with a green 4-H shirt who didn't have a name yet. I think I'll name him Kipper, after that dog from one of my favorite shows back then.

HAHA.

Today we are having some of Abi's friends over for dinner/iftar. Ummi has to cook after Iqra lessons with Z.

Today something happened.

Today we went to the library which was the first time in a long time. I got five Warrior books: Into the Wild, Outcast, A Dangerous Path, Fading Echoes, and Bluestar's Prophecy. I finished Into the Wild today, and I just started A Dangerous Path. Bluestar's Prophecy is my favorite book. I LOVE Bluestar. She is awesome. Firestar is really amazing too. Today was my first time of reading Into the Wild, and I never realized how good and cool Firestar was when he first entered the Clan. I hate Tigerstar, and I like Graystripe and Ravenpaw and Yellowfang. I hate Clawface because he killed Spottedleaf. I like Lionheart and I hate ShadowClan because they killed him. I hate Tigerstar for killing Redtail and I'm sad that Redtail killed Oakheart because Oakheart was not a bad RiverClan cat. He was Bluestar's partner and although he was kinda of silly, I really like him, and I also really like Mistyfoot and Stonefur. It's a pity Snowfur and Mosskit died. It's a pity Sandstorm didn't like Firestar when he first entered the Clan. It's a pity Tigerstar wanted power so much and told his buddies that Ravenpaw was being disloyal to the Clan. I wish Bluestar didn't die. S says she thinks Firestar is boring because he lived too long. It's a good thing Yellowfang joined ThunderClan. I wish Hollyleaf was one of the chosen ones. I wish Brightheart didn't lose her eye in the dog fight. I wish Bluestar wasn't so confused and hostile in her old days.

I'm running out of things I can say about Warriors.

Well, moving on to today's events. We went to the library and I paid my fines, which was a total of 3.50. I gave that person three dollars and two quarters, so no change this time. Then I played the World of Goo and the Children's computer with Z, and I also had to get the book called Anne of Green Gables for literature class next week. That book looks boring. Ummi and S are both saying it's a good book, but I don't share their taste in books like that, so I'm reluctant to read it. It looks like it's just about some red-headed girl who lives in a green gable and overall it doesn't look interesting. Yes, I'm judging the book by its cover, but seriously, it DOES look boring.

Anewhooooooozers, we then went to FedEx so we could bind some stuff, including my 2012-2013 portfolio and H's too. While that was happening, Z and I went to PetSmart, which was next door. We looked at the reptiles, then the birds, the guinea pigs and rats, and lastly, the cats. To my surprise there were only two cats there. Their names were B.J. and I-forgot-your-name-kitty-I'm-sorry. I-forgot-your-name-kitty-I'm-sorry was orange and he looked old and tired. B.J. was gray and he looked very friendly. I put my mouth at the hole in the glass and meowed. B.J. looked at me immediately. Ha, I can fool people sometimes. Then we looked at the fish, and that's when I saw H and Ummi come in.

"Come, they say it will take an hour," said Ummi.

"An hour? Seriously?" I said.

"Yeah."

"Come, let's go to Big! Lots," said Ummi.

Okay. So we drove to Big! Lots. "What do we need here?" I asked as we walked in.

"Z's file folders."

Ah, I see.

Down the school aisle we went. I spied some très belle notebooks with butterflies on them. I love butterflies. I blabbed about them to Ummi, and she said, "Nak ke?" (which can be translated to,"Want or not?")

"Yeah!" I said.

"Ha, go choose one," she said.

I liked a purple one with an orange and pink flower on it, and then I saw a pretty blue one with two pink butterflies on it. Flipping through them all, I said to myself, "I'll just take the ones I like and choose later."

The last notebook I found was light blue with lavender and there was a pink flower in the center. Its petals were lavender-tipped and four pink butterflies were sitting on it. If you tipped the note book to the right side, the butterflies' wings closed, and if you moved the notebook to the left side, the wings would open. It was parfait.

But I still couldn't choose.

Ummi was heading for me, so I said, "Ummi, this one, this one, or this one," I said, showing her each note book in turn.

"Let me see," she said, taking them. She flipped through them and chose the lavender-light blue-pink flower-butterfly one.

Then I asked Z's opinion. He chose the purple one with the pink and orange flower.

Then I asked H's opinion. He chose the blue one with the two pink butterflies.

I was left in a cloud of confusion. They all had given me different choices, and now I was the only one left to make a choice. What could I choose?

I ended up taking Ummi's choice. After all, she was once a girl. And fellow girls make the best choices, especially if they know me.

Then we looked for odd stuff in the other aisles. I guess Ummi was really hungry, because before I knew it, we were frolicking in the candy aisle. I waved a large pink and white lollipop in H's face. "Mmm. I want it," he said.

Ummi is a chocoholic, and she couldn't choose which chocolate to get because we were messing her up (teehee).

"No, Ummi, I don't like milk chocolate!"

"Get caramel!"

"Ooh! I like dark chocolate!"

We ended up with some sort of normal milk chocolate bar. Then we bought two boxes of granola bars. One was Chococonut, a chewy granola bar. Then we took another one called Apple Pie Crunch. I hate crunchy things, but H wanted to get it, and Ummi said, "One crunchy, one chewy." And I wasn't the boss anyway. So I went along with it.

While we were in the line, Ummi found the pink and white lollipop in the cart. "Whooo put this in here?" she asked.

I looked at it. "Sorry. That was not me."

"Ish, go and put this back," she said, handing it over.

"That was Whammo!" I said, jerking my thumb at H. I stuck the lollipop between two boxes in a cart beside me.

Whilst Ummi paid, I was at the tiny gumball and trinket thingies. "So, Skittles or gumballs?" I asked.

"Uhh, never mind, don't get Skittles. they have gelatin," said H. "Get the gumballs. I'll pay you back."

So at that moment Ummi was done paying, so I rushingly slipped one quarter into the slot and turned the knob. An orange gumball came out, along with something hard and black. What was it? I leaned in for a closer look - and realized with horror that it was a dead cockroach. I held in my shock and dropped it on the ground as I slipped in my other quarter and turned the knob. A red gumball fell out. Good. My business was done.

I stood up and ran outside, where Ummi and H and Z were.  I handed H the red one. "A cockroach came out with this one," I said, holding up the orange one and grinning.

"What! Really? You have to wash it," said H.

We went to Best Buy next. Ummi ate one of the granola bars. As I opened the door and got out of the van, I tripped on the little sidewalk threshold or whatsitcalled. I fell against the van, causing a loud thump.

"APA TU?!" Ummi screeched.

I got up quickly.

"Me, I fell." I said.

I slowly turned my head to look at H. He was grinning and it turned into a laugh. I punched him.

We went into Best Buy, and I did not care what they said, I did it. I ate the gumball and brought my teeth down, ready to enjoy the feeling of the soft gumball and the orange flavor.

Instead, I felt horror as my teeth grazed against hard sphere, and I realized it was not a gumball, but a jawbreaker. My tongue stung from the harsh bite I had given it. I hid my embarrassment by chewing and chomping roughly on the jawbreaker. I followed H in pursuit as he embarked on his search for the Nexus 4. His new obsession.

"Show me your jawbreaker," I told him.

Thinking I had said something else, he said, "You ate it?! But it's dirty!"

"It's clean," I insisted.

"Now show me your jawbreaker," I said when he did not reply.

He showed me the white ball in his mouth. "Ew."

I brought one of the Nexus 4's up to my face as a mirror to look at the jawbreaker in my mouth. Whoa! It was white with blue rings! This was amazing.

I found Ummi looking at laptops. "Cool, is that a touchscreen?" I asked.

"No," she said, swiping the screen as she spoke. "Oh wait - it is!"

"Cool!" I said.

Then we couldn't find H. We found him and left. FedEx time!

We drove to FedEx, and Ummi said we wouldn't be there for very long, so, no use in going to PetSmart now, although Z kept insisting. So we all piled inside FedEx Kinko's. Our stuff was ready.

"Here you go!" said the guy there, opening a box, revealing our binded portfolios and Arabic with Husna things. Ummi pointed out the smudges in my portfolio, killing my excitement.

We then headed for home. It was around 11:30 or something, and we had an online class meeting at 12:00. We had our meeting and then it was Dhuhr time.

I kept worrying that my tummy would act up because of the jawbreaker, but thankfully, it did not. When Ummi, S, and Z left for the doctor's at 2:30, I lay down on the couch, reading Into the Wild. I was close to the end of the book, when suddenly I heard footsteps at the screen door, and the sound of knocking. I sat up and stared. It was Jn! Whoabang, haven't seen her in a while.

"S? N?" Jn called, peering inside (quite rude!). I walked to the door and opened it. "Hi."

"Hi N!" Jn said. We did a weird hug and then Jn said, "I like your henna!"

I hadn't even noticed it, and I was surprised she even knew what henna was. "Thank you."

"So, ah, are you guys through with Ramadan?" she asked.

"Yeah."

"When did it end?"

"Uh, last week on Thursday."

"Was it fun?" she asked, winking.

"Yeah," I said, grinning.

"Ah, okay." Then she gave something to me. It was a purple gift bag. "This is for S, and if you look in there you might find something you'll like too." She winked. Gosh.

"Okay, thank you!" I said.

"Oh, and ah, is your doorbell working?" she asked, pressing it.

"No, it's broken," I said.

"Oh, so that's why you didn't hear me the first time. Okay, well, bye N! Have a nice day!" she said walking away.

"Bye!"

I closed the door, locked it, and put the gift bag on my desk. I didn't want to open it; it was S's, after all. Then I went back to reading my book.

A few moments after that, my curiosity overcame me and I peeked inside the gift bag. Something pink and catty caught my eye. I pulled it out and stared at it. It was a pink cat ballpoint pen in a hard paper boxing. The words on the box said, "The Purrr...fect Pen. BALL POINT PEN. here kitty kitty help me with my homework."

It was really cool! And I sensed it was for me, since she always gives me cat presents. But I was not sure about who is was for.

So I hid the bag under my desk to surprise S, just in case she didn't go in the room when she returned. Then I stopped my reading and practiced my Qur'an revision on my bed. I want to change my bedsheets. They're really probably dirty from when I got sick and other things. And I want my bed to be clean for the new school year too.  Unfortunately, we are a family of money-savers. *sob*

*Minutes later*

I jumped. The garage was opening. About time. They'd been out for a long time. But then I heard something.

"Salamu 'alaykum."

Oh. Abi.

They weren't back yet. I continued practicing, itching with anticipation to give the gift bag to S. I really like gifting people. End of story.

She finally returned. I went to the door and opened it. I told her about what Jn had said and stuff. "She said my henna was nice," I said. "I mean, I didn't even know that she even knew what henna IS!"

"Yeah, the doctor asked me about mine too," she said.

Strange people. Possibly stalkers.

JK. I know some people are aware what henna is.

"Jn came with a gift for you, and she said there might be something in there for me too," I said, getting the bag out from under my desk.

"Jn said she would come tomorrow! Did she say anything about that?" S said.

"No."

S dug and pulled out the boxed pen. "This is yours," she said.

"Ooh, that's so cool!" I said, opening it and trying my best to sound fascinated. "It's purr-fect!"

S then pulled out her gifts. A red Snoopy mailbox and a card. She opened it. Inside were the signings of all the girls from the Boys and Girls Club she helped out at. "Cool!" I said.

S opened the mailbox. There was something wrapped inside. It was a butterfly hairclip!

"I bet you're jealous," S said mischievously.

"I'm not!" I protested. "Okay, I guess I am, because I'm the one who likes butterflies and hair-stuff and all..."

She laughed rudely.

The end.

leeleelee

I've miserably failed at this Leelou blog. I need to ask help from Sister S.

hehehehehehehe

N

Don't underestimate me. -_-

I can too tell analog time. SO THERE MOM

Hello, school.

School started today and went off pretty good. I had only math, Quran, and writing class to do. I used my new beautiful purple composition book for Algebra 1, and my purple binder for Writing class. I had a new polymer eraser and a new pink mechanical pencil. My desk drawer is filled with school books that I can not fit anything else in there. I need to empty it.

I believe S's class is over, so after we pray Dhuhr, it will be snack time. I might have my ice cream outside. It is so hot today.

The end.

Henna

I must share this with you, because I always share.

Right hand design, done by S and redone by Ummi.

Butterfly done by S and slightly smudged by me.

Left foot rose by Ummi. I did the nails.

Right foot done by Ummi. Only three nails are colored.

Right palm by S. This is my favorite.

Sorry about the bad quality. It's night here and I just took those. And I apologize for the non-rotation of the photos. I used the portrait position while taking them with Abi's iPad.

N

Names

Hai.

I'm changing my name back to N. I will also do that to every other person in this blog. I'll just change their name to their initial only, and if two people have the same initial, I will put their last initial after.

N

Henna Party

Yesterday we all went henna crazy.

Well, not Z and H, of course.

Me and S planned to do it after Dhuhr. So we did that. My right hand henna that I got before Eid was fading away. My nails were too. and the thing that I did by myself on my left palm was also fading away. So first I colored my toe-nails with the orange henna. I colored only three when S took the henna pen away from me. I took another henna pen that smelled funny and colored my big toe and the toe next to it. That pen was bad, so I took a black pen. It would not open. S cut it. What came out was a globby, runny, black liquid, kinda like tar. With that black pen, S drew a little butterfly on my left hand. I used that black pen to color all of my left toes and three of my left fingers. Then mum redid the thing on my right hand and she also drew something around the mole on my right ring finger. LOL. Then mum did both of my feet and then S did something on my right palm. I felt like an Indian prrrrrincess. LOL.

Then end. Bhai.

Eid al-Fitr 2013

It went well.

The day passed too fast.

But then again, that's how it always is when something you like occurs.

My clothes were red. Before the Eid prayer, during the takbir, my sister S, my friend Mar, and I were all standing in the hallway. And then, abruptly, the prayer began. There were more people praying than I expected! They filled the whole musalla! Me, Mar, and S had to walk in front of the praying people, which was totally awkward and embarrassing. We got into the library and prayed. It was a pity though, that we missed the part when the imam said the seven 'Allahu Akbars.' When the prayer was over we waited a million minutes for the khutbah to be over. My little friend Shazzy talked too much and too loud.

Well, it was then eating time, but when I was standing in the line, Mar called me out. She wanted to play with the babies but I wanted to eat because I was very hungry. But I listened to my friend, because I always listen to my friends. Because I just can't argue or say no. Unless it's to someone I greatly dislike. When I decided to get in the food line, it was so long it reached into the musalla. I was standing at the wall when suddenly Sr came to me and hugged me. "Eid Mubarak!"

"Eid Mubarak!" I echoed.

"Are you going to eat?" she asked.

"Yeah," I said. "We should go..."

"Yeah, we should totally go. That's a really good idea right now," she said.

"Yeah," I said, not wanting to explain that Mar took me away from the food line. "Are you going to eat?"

"Yeah, I'll just squeeze in the line with my mom," she said.

"Oh, okay."

Sr went away. After a few minutes of talking to Mar, I said, "I'm going to eat, okay?"

"Okay."

So I got in line and Sr was behind me. And later she squeezed in with her mom. And I spotted Mar and her sister Ra in the line too, just a few people behind me.

I got some potato salad, some eclair cake that S made, a white powdered donut, and some other stuff. Since I was really late in getting food, the Krispy Kreme donuts were all gone. But later, I found a half-eaten one in the box. I was so donutly desperate that I took it and ate it. Ahhh, it was worth it. And then I went outside and went on the swing with two little six-year old twin girls named Lar and Rnd. I swung with Lar (I think I did, it's hard to tell those girls apart). Then someone came and said they were giving out the Eid gifts for the kids, so everyone went inside. To the remaining people at the swings I said, "Ta-ta!" And then Lar started calling me Ta-ta.

So we left the masjid at around 11:30 and went home. Mum and Dad gave Z his Eid gifts, which were lots of DVDs. Me and H and Z watched them until 12:00 so we left for Auntie Sal's house. We were early. Ummi thought we were supposed to be there at 12 but we were actually supposed to be there at 2.

Something hilarious happened there. The floor was really slippery because there wasn't any carpet, just a rug, so when H was about to go outside with Kylie, he slipped and fell on his elbow, and he crashed into a nearby table. Something on the table fell the the ground and broke. S couldn't stop laughing. That was an EPIC moment. "Smooth moves, brother," I said.

That was cleaned up. I feasted on Auntie Sal's cherries until it was eating time. When the people arrived, I slept on the couch because I couldn't sleep the night before. Then we went home, leaving H at Kylie's house.

We slept at home.

We hadn't seen Nev the whole day.

But at the picnic at the park, she was there. We gave her our gift and she was all happy.

The End.

I felt it did

yes

i did

i felt the blog needed another post

cuz the previous posts have been little shorties

like me

so yeah

someone come help fix my grammar

now

*coughs out mucus* Ah, that's better.

Now, the purpose of this post was to amuse you. And so I will tell you something amusing.

Last night, we went for iftar at the masjid. As soon as the athan was over, I ate a date and drank all my lemonade. Then I prayed. Then I feasted. The beef was veddy goot. So was the salad. As for dessert - pooh! I had two donuts and remained content. Then Halima Bean said she wanted to fight with me. So in the musalla we tussled and rolled on the ground, and a random kid became the fight announcer.

"The big one has won 5 times!"

"The big one has won 7 times!"

"Oh, the little one won 3 times!"

Before that the kid saw me playing with Lima Bean on the ground, and he said, "You look overgrown."

"I am," I said.

He squinted and said, "How old are you?"

"Fourteen."

He was silent.

Then, Lima Bean went spinning because she was bored. So she spun for a long time and she said, "Oh I'm gonna fall!" and she went crashing into a yellow table that held a can of soda.

She remained laying there for a moment. That kid and I came over to see if she was still alive. "She's dead!" the kid said, moving her arm. Obviously she wasn't, but the soda had spilled all over the ground and some on her shirt. Lima got up and saw the spilled soda. "Oh no! We have to clean this up! I can't let any grown-up know about this!" So me, her, the kid and his little brother cleaned up the mess. So that was that, but later...

Before Isha, a woman came into the musalla for vacuuuming. Dread overcame me. It should be dry by now, no worries, said my brain.

So in the beginning the vacuuming was okay, but when she went over the wet patch she asked me, "What is this?" and I shrugged. (>.< I feel really bad about doing that.) And when the vacuuming was over, sister told mom what really happened.

A few moments after that, sister came to me and said, "Lima Bean spilled coffee now!"

"Lol," I said.

And this morning, I went for tahajjud and suhoor at the masjid. When we were about to leave, Nev put on her blanket and draped it over her head. "This is my hiblanket," she said, indicating it was a mixup of hijab and blanket.

"No, it's a hijablanket!" I said.

"Yeah! Daisy, look at my hijablanket!" Nev told Lima Bean's mom.

"Hijablanket, eh?" she said.

More stuff happened. We went home.

Eid gifts, clothes and such

Me and S are mulling over the following dilemma: What to get friends for Eid?

Especially our friend Nev, who is a Mexican convert to Islam. This is going to be her first Eid. Also, our two friends Ra and Mar, who are newcomers here. They'll be spending their first Eid here too, so I thought we should get them something. Ah well. Tonight I'll go and ask Nev to guess what her present is. XD

I'm making tomato soup for iftar tonight. Yum :9 I love tomato soup :D

I cant figure out what to wear for Eid. Meh.

I'm sittin' here, nibblin' meh nails

And I shouldn't be. One of my Ramadan goals was to stop biting my nails. I must keep trying.

My stuffy nose is really annoying. Mosquitoes are too. So is heat. I like sun and summer, but it's too bad it makes me so hot.

I'm sorry

If you're very sad now due to lack of posts on this wonderful blog, I shall tell you that I got sick on Tuesday, and it all started with Z's dumbness. See, he likes touching stuff and touching his face, henceforth declaring his grossness and lack of sanitary-ness. It is disliked by everyone in the family, except not as much to Dad (probably because he isn't home much).

So that dirty kid got sick, and then it was passed on to me, probably when I was making a smoothie for him. Hmmph. Darn kid didn't deserve it. So it all started with a sore throat. I was not fasting that day. Tuesday night was terrible. I had a headache and couldn't move. Sheez.

Well, I'm alright now, and yesterday we had four visitors; three girls and one boy, by the names Nev, Ra, Mar, and Kylie. I'm sure you all know who Kylie is, right? He's a regular visitor (every other week). Nev is a convert, and she came over to learn how to pray. Ra and Mar are sisters and they recently moved here, in June. We invited them over to play, because we were socially awkward with them. XD

Nev came first and left last. She came during my class (12:29, to be exact) and left before dinner (which I believe was 6:25).

It was a nice atmosphere, I guess. Hrrrmm.
