I'm an old wrinkly girl at the age of three hands times five fingers

I came back from swimming about 40 minutes ago. I'm all wrinkly and dry and I can't find my lotion bottle. We prayed late. We're hungry. Chicken is in the oven now. Pardon me - S just told me to go and do something.

I'm back. So basically, the bowling was AWESOME and I had 37 points at the end of the first game (lame) but then on the second game we pulled the sides up and I got 94 (with the help of meh little six year old friend Hal). My ball was ten pounds and it was pinkish-red. Oh yeah and on the second game I did two strikes. I am very proud of myself.

Just now at the pool I nearly died. I was diving without goggles on and it was so deep (because I was fishing for something) and I nearly lost all my breath and thought I had come to my end as I was floating back up. Just as my hand touched the little swimming toy it floated away and I was surprised but then my oxygen went away and I had to float back up. Water was in my nose and I had to cough it out. I pinched my nose shut and blew so my ears could unclog. My chest had a sharp pain in it. My eyes slowly closed...and I died.

For real. This is my sister S in my account typing up this post for me. Because I really did leave this world.

It is hard to write in N's dumb, silly style. I'm sorry, fans out there who do not exist. *cackle*

Well, now that she's gone, my life will be so much easier. Now, to get rid of H. *cackles again*

I'm back again. No, I was just joking. N is still here. She wrote all of the former. S doesn't even know N's password. And how would S know how N felt whilst swimming? Sure, N could have told her all about it, but would S have enough heart to get in her blog and write it all down? No. As y'all can probably see on S's blog, the last post was probably September 7 or something.

So basically that's it.

N (for realsies)

9:38 am

I just showered. Joycie is picking me up in an hour. Auntie Sal should be picking up H in an hour too to go to the Farmer's Market. S is at the high school already. She was angry when she showered in the morning because Kak Nora was showering for SO LONG with the hot water, and S had to shower with the cold water. I was silently angry at Kak Nora. Even I didn't shower for that long. So anyways, I slept in S's bed until I woke up at 8:40. Yeah, I sleep in S's bed now because we're both cold, and S says I'm always so physically warm, so I'm her human warmer. Kind of offensive, but I like sleeping with other people. Especially if they like to snuggle. Unfortunately S doesn't like to snuggle.

So now there are cars outside slamming doors and weird kids screaming and adults yelling. Throat still hurts, and I'm beginning to cough a little too. Need to take honey and gargle salt water. I hate that medicine, but it works. I like Ibuprofen but it doesn't work. So yeah.

My shower was wonderfully warm, and I warmed my freezing little fingers under the summer-hot water. Now they're freezing again and not typing what I want them to type.

Finally, H updated his blog. S should update hers.

random dogs are barking outside

I fahgotted to tell you that we woke up late for Fajr this morning. I woke up early when it was still dark because my dream didn't last long. And then I woke up and saw the light. And then I tried to remember if we prayed already. And I thought we did. So I went back to sleep. But then S woke up and said, "Oh no, did we pray yet?" And I said, "I don't know." And then S checked her alarm and saw that it didn't ring. And then she made wudu and we prayed and I stayed up because it was too late to sleep. So yeah.

We don't have a ride so nobody is taking us to that pizza party therefore H better bring some back for us. Hib's mom may come over tomorrow to fix Kak Nora's laptop.

N

Milk Duds

Today I went to Jumu'ah. I was very tired and took a half-sleeping, half-conscious nap whilst sitting down against the wall. It was uncomfortable but worth it. Except for the fact that my bones cracked like ripples in the sea when I stood up to pray. Tonight there is an Eid pizza dinner at the masjid after Isha. There is a chance I'm going and a chance I'm not. For first of all, we don't have a ride. Second of all, we might have a ride. Very complicated, right?

Yes. Everything is complicated without Mom and/or Dad.

Tomorrow, S is going to the high school for her test. This means I'm going to the Farmer's Market by myself. I doubt I'll survive. I'm so dependent. Also, I'm going bowling with the Muslim Girls' Club from 11am to 1pm. And then, there'll be the halaqa after Asr. And after that, possibly swimming from 6 to 7.

I hope I'll be full of energy tonight. Because I don't feel like napping right now. I'll manage...because this is me, all-time every time: :D

At the store just now we bought candy. H's idea. After Jumu'ah we were all so hungry because lunch wasn't ready before we left. We turned into zombies at the playground and H found a few bits of leftover Eid candy on the ground. I found some wrapped cheese and desperately ate it. Mmm.

H is at soccer now, Z is on the computer, Kak Nora is at our sewing machine, and S is studying. That poor girl won't be able to go to the bowling tomorrow because of her test, which extends from 9 to 12. And she assumes that when she gets to the halaqa, the girls who went bowling are all going to act like buddies and leave her out. I told S that I would MAKE the girls talk to her. Somehow. Because I remember when I was 11, S and her friends would single me out of their friend group, even though I was just a year younger than them all. It's a horrible feeling to be left out. The words 'left out' make me angry.

*slams fist into open hand*

*stares at empty Milk Duds box on computer desk*

Teehee.

My Fingers Are Fah-reeeeeezing

My Qur'an class is in approximately 38 minutes. My throat still slightly hurts. My fingers are freezing. And umm... I'm hungry. :D What should I eat?

Umm, I think I'll take those red apples in the fridge. I have not tasted an apple for 3 years. For realsies.

JUST KIDDING.

I like green apples and green grapes, but I don't like the color green. My sister likes red apples and red grapes, but she doesn't like the color red. Yes, we are a very strange pair of sisters.

My toes are freezing too. >_< And I need to clean the toilet today. Plus the bathroom mirror and counter. I just feel like it. Those are the only bathroom chores I find fun. And also, meh laundry. It wasn't a very big load, but it had thick stuff in it, like meh towel (meh luscious red towel that is about 9 years old) and meh pink fleece blanket (meh fluffy pink blanket that is 4 years old).

I have a lot of old stuff. It's kinda hard to believe that I've had my red towel since I was about six years old. And yeah, it's still in good condition. ^_^

Anyways, I think I'm done here, so I'm going to show you some pictures that I took from my [VERY BIG AND LONG] trip in April.

THE BLUE SKY IS BLUE LIKE BLUE BUBBLEGUM

Random red van on the rough road.

Clear shot of text on the signs out there.

A random city.

Have a nice trip, see ya next fall.

Muffins I made. They got squished, but they were at least still muffins, and still food, and still good. BE GRATEFUL
I had to - didn't I?

See my li'l bro there at the pond?

I got an amazing shot of that white bird in flight.

Why does my window have to reflect what happening inside the van?

CHEWY THINGS RULE THE WORLD MY BRAIN

I hate hotels with that sort of blanket.

A very eerie shot of the hotel window. This was around 3am, if I remember correctly.

"Teary eyes and dreary skies..."

Fancy house.

Mm-mmmm

I just had a random urge to make a post with pictures in it. PHOTO OVERLOAD

Chewy oats chocolate bar, mmm!
My sophisticated bag that Grandma bought for me.
Somewhere in the horrid, non-sunny Seattle.

*cracks knuckles*

I'm kind of tired. Note to make in head: Never stay up after Fajr again.

So basically...I made some lovely chicken for dinner. I don't take any credit for it though, because Momma made the paste.

I want to listen to songs on headphones and pretend I'm in a music video.

I wish I could tell you a story, but nothing happened today. So I leave you with this.

N

My eyes are crossed.

I'm listening to the history class recording now. WWI is boring. WWII is much more interesting. And I don't know why.

I stayed up after Fajr today and did my speech homework. Our fire alarm has a low battery. As usual, S is grumpy and angry.

Mom and Dad are returning on Sunday. S is going to the high school this weekend.

I can't believe it's already Thursday.

More later today, hopefully!

Old times

I just realized that I was getting used to the new Blogger interface, and that I can barely remember what the old one looked like. *sniffs* Good old former Blogger interface...

Anyway, yesterday was fun only in the morning. First of all, it's because you see all your friends in the morning at the masjid at the prayer and breakfast. Second, you eat. The thing I hate is when everybody leaves. Mainly because nobody interesting invites me/us to their house for eating. But yea, Kylie-Mylie came to our house and we did some pretty fun(ny) things. Then at 4 Auntie Sal came and took us to her house. We jumped on her trampoline and ate delicious beef.

There we go, nothing interesting.

Eid Al-Adha 2013

Eid Mubarak everybody!

It's almost 6:30 am now. S is showering. H is watching videos (obviously he doesn't know the spirit of celebrating) and Z is sleeping. Auntie Sal is taking us to the masjid in our van.

I've got a gift for Hib and I cannot wait to give it. Aiihh, must go now.

Asslamaualikum!
